I guess I've a simpler method Dilution over strength multiplied by dose multipled by weight Usually inj amikacin come in 100mg in vol of 2ml.....And it's practiced as 15 mg per kg so here is final dose 2÷100×15×3= 0.9 Inj Amikacin 100 given iv In BD so that we simply devide 0.9 by 2 Hence dose for inj Amikacin 100mg for baby of 3kg would be 45 units or 0.45cc IV BD 🎉 Please mam check my calculations too
