A wonderful video😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍…and….all this history about Bury St. Edmunds and the ruins of the great Abbey. I was born in Sudbury…now I live abroad 40 years…I still like to visit England…especially Suffolk, Norfolk….and of course London 😉

Unfortunately a lot of the recording was people talking over the event and I didn’t want to put up peoples private conversations 🤷🏻‍♀️. I did leave some of the original recordings where possible.

Oops just checked and the official page says open any reasonable hours during daylight. Closes at 8pm or dusk which ever is sooner. But I don’t remember ever seeing the gates shut 🤷🏻‍♀️ xx

Yes it is in guist. Cross the road opposite the post office and you’ll see a gap off the path that drops down into the trees. You should be able to see it from the path ( that goes toward the church)
