Isn’t ironic that he doesn’t really like LEGO… he does a little but he’s mostly into building his own LEGO Minecraft mocs so the sets mean very little to him.

so the mirror build looks great - definitely something to do with a half baseplate build though, as unless its something you LOVE, 2 baseplates would be too much.. The Central Perk one - i would almost take the stairs off, they almost take away from the build that looks really good without, and maybe just have like vines running up the wall? :) great additions to the city!

Looking forward to seeing the new Mocs and alternate builds in your city. The central Perk set is just fantastic for parts and accessories which is why I have 3 lol. They’re so irresistible to buy especially when you see them between 20 & 30% off sometimes.

all three options do sound interesting to help build a lego city. option 3 I like the most. i try to do that. mix and match pieces form various sets to create a building of some kind. with one set that was originally a lego store theme set that i got from the lego store I modified the floors so that ti became a different floor theme building. I can relate on creating generic type business for a lego city. aside from having a comic book universe theme building or two or three in my lego town I prefer to have generic places that were created from the imagination. no reality places like a mcdonalds for example.

Yes, the mix and match is the most fun for me too! You potentially have to have a few more parts available but it’s a good challenge to use what you have.

I feel like we haven’t done enough to have a really good opinion to share but the alternate build of the Disney castle is a favorite. We are slowly working on the radio station now. I would love to do more but we have been finding them very time consuming and a bit stressful so have taken a break.
