I picked up one of these many years since discontinued and fans and electrics have come a long way so I’m installing retracts, a 70mm high performance 12 blade EDF but I’m going to keep it 4s, no sense flying any faster than it does it’s just going to be nice to have the extra power and it will sound better

The C-119 sounded, really authentic. Love the looks, on both of these. Never saw a 'Convair-580', flying model, before, either. The extra big scales, gave them a realistic flight, display☺️!!

I would go glow. Twins sound great with glow. 120s would put power to your flight, .they should fit and give you scale speed and sound.

Very nice RC Skyhawk, but just fyi, VT-7 never had an A-4M to my knowledge. the turtle back (hump) is specific to the "mike". Now they did have a few single seat aircraft a few years before I arrived at the squadron in '93, but those remained in fleet camouflage. other than that, the plane is awesome.

I recall that he was pretty much stuffed in his flight gear:) God Bless Him. I tracked down the name of his hometown and did an obit. search. Sure nuff, he is gone now. Folded Wings...rip.

Opie, the S-2 was a submarine tracker and not a transport. Transport was handled by its cousin the C-2, referred to as the COD.

Wow, I haven’t seen that much power in a Cub. The old saying you can’t have too much power holds true for the Cub. I’m rethinking which motor to use in my next J3 build, an electrified 80” inch wingspan Hangar 9 J3 Cub 40. Thanks for your video. Great flying by the way!

Hi, I have a question: I have the arrows rc p-47 thunderbolt ,with the same internals. When i ride my wheels out,the cg is going forward,is this normal? How i balance the bird then,,with wheels out or in? i balance the bird with wheels in,but when i ride the wheels out it comes noseheavy(i dont think it fly with this strong noneweight?) Any ideas...or its the same by your bird? You know what i mean? Sry for my bad english ;-)

I just bought one today, Feb 2023 New in the Box. The local Hobby Shop bought a massive collection, which also include a built un flown version also, with a YS engine. I have a growing hate for foam models, and this is will be a great Mustang to fly! Going electric on mine also. Going to watch the rest of your series related to the model. Thanks!

Kinda seems like she should be able to lift off of grass, especially wet grass from the looks of the soggy tarmac. Beautiful bird though!

It's beautiful, love the warm up. Ayyy takes three men to contain the beast. I swear one of my life goals is to get a scale radial on a sweet custom run stand to play with and listen to. I'll worry about a plane later. post is old but sure this thing has brought many smiles.
