That's a great technique. Andrew Tischler mentioned that he never throws brushes away. I've seen him paint with what looks like 2 or 3 bristles 😂

Yes, there’s always some kind of use for old brushes.

This is mainly from the wild Kakwa country. I’ve always thought that Elmworth area is one of the most beautiful places anywhere! Used to deer hunt back there many years ago.

Now I am praying God will make a way to do what I love! You inspire me! Im from Alberta near Drayton Valley. We live in some of the most beautiful rugged and wild landscape. I’ve never heard of varnishing a giclee. Is it to protect it or “shine” it up? The bear painting is awesome!❤
@DesMcCaffrey24 күн бұрын
I use it to protect it and punch out the colors at bit. It has a UV protection element to it also.

Awesome looks great I’ve never varnished . Do you only use oil paints if yes I was wondering how long your paintings have to dry before you can varnish them. You’re a gifted artist. Gods blessings and Merry Christmas ❤
@DesMcCaffrey23 күн бұрын
@@pheonixrose2995 I only paint in oils but I do the odd pencil and or charcoal drawings. I paint fairly thinly so my paintings generally take about a month to dry thoroughly. I use Gamblin products for varnishing and they have some really good product support videos about varnishes and mediums. Hope this helps.
