Tried switch axe in Generations Ultimate, couldn’t get into it. Tried it in World, fell in love with it. I recently did the Sapphire Star’s Guidance and had a rough time understanding how to fight Telstra with SA. This definitely amazed me and gave me a newfound understanding and mindset on how to fight him. Thanks! Hope to see you in Wilds!

Its a forgiving window, if it runs out right before you ZSD or right before you clutch claw it will give you full amped meter

Just got into switchaxe recently and got recommended this. If the creator still sees this, that would be amazing. But seriously, that ZSD into escaton judgement to survive with the regen, while also not using any mantles, what an absolutely cracked run. One of the coolest runs I’ve seen ever for mhw, you should be proud!

Fatalis armor gives the ability to break through all the skill barriers like agitator 5 to 7 or like freemeal 3 what normaly is behind Tigrex set bonus , hope i could help you and yes Fatalis amor is very strong and you also dont have to run Healthbonus anymore, your HP is always maxed out even if you dont eat :)

It most cases just bonus damage based on the elemental weakness of the part you’re hitting. iirc Capcom tried to give it additional benefits with Agnaktor’s lava armour, but we didn’t have anything else since.

This weapon is a whole new thing in Rise but you use it like a total Kamura god. Love how you change between modes to gain ground, evade and be offensive at the same time. Whenever I use that strategy either miss hits or end up in a different position. Will keep practicing, defitinively better than in World or 4U. Amazing.

Stop leftclicking/triangle just before the last tick you will land on sword mode without knocked down in Axe. Maybe a bit late but this might useful to others new S.A. players in the future so pleasw let me leave my answer here .

I've been playing swaxe for 400 hours and I only just learned you can grapple onto a monster and then trigger ZSD. I'm losing my mind, this changes everything.

I played 500+ hours before knowing I could ZSD while grappling too. 🤣 Also you can do it while sliding and do a sword attack then ZSD.
