i went m550i 2 years ago. got a 2020 with the tu3n63. about 35k cheaper than a similar spec'd m5. mine was fully loaded with every single option. 2000 for down pipe dme unlock tune and it beat a stage 1 m5 on the highway. and with xdelete I can make it rwd just like the m5 for when you want some donuts. the m550i really is a gem. also with Xdelete on my 500i it lets you keep the traction control on

Thanks, I have one on the way, 1.5 eTSI MHEV. I think I will be happy, I considered the Terramar which is very similar but in the end it's too big and heavy for what I'm after. Also, the Formentor do look a lot better :)

This is the best review i have seen on this car. Nobody else mentions the link with Toyota and Mazda running gear. I have the full hybrid version. The Toyota and Mazda engineering is what gave me confidence this car would be a good long term proposition. Outstanding car. Outstanding review. Many thanks 👍

Great review, lots of information covering all the bases. It is a good vehicle for people like me living in Helsinki, with good ground clearance for driving in snow conditions. It’s only the price of the electrical version which is ridiculous, as you pointed out. I think, of the 50,000 units sold, the majority wil be iCE versions. This is a pity because the ev version is really good, (apart from the stupid name of course)!

I have this in the same colour. I Love driving it. True its not the quickest to 60mph but it has enough torque off the line and the sport mode helps. I also love the interior with heated seats and wheel. I use the regen for almost one foot driving. Using the brake only to stop under the last few mph. Its comfy to drive I think even with the 20" wheels. 😊

Very good test review! I watch your tests also on the other channel, and I want to congratulate you for the way that you explain and review cars. I have one question: I know that other car manufacterers on their plug in systems don't let the battery completely zero as you mentioned also on the Kuga, but if you are in this situation and it shows on the display that it is almost drained completely and you are kick down in a full acceleration or you are in sport mode, the electric motor still gives power as well?

@@artivideobup8743 the DSG will be more fun to drive, and that's about it. The E-CVT is a lot more durable, but it does have a specific feeling that's not to everyone's taste.

Good review, thanks. I also deplore the absence of driving mode buttons on the center console but you have a shorcut for the drive modes....o the right of the volume button and it's a little more practical than entering the menus Before I had the 225ps version, the new one is better to drive, and faster. His consumption is lower as the 225ps version. I find that the 2024 FL is more accomplished. and I'm really happy to drive her, whatever the route.

I have a 2017 4x4 duster for getting to work on a farm. It’s good . I had to put off-road tires on it. I’m ordering the new version in September here in the UK and will keep a set of off and on road wheels so if we go on a summer road trip I can put the road wheels on. Its by far the best car for money on off road capability. Good review. Do you have one for the inside in terms of back seats down etc etc

The consumption is 6,7l cause of xDrive and sticky Sporttires. Get RWD and some efficent tires, the consumption will be around 5,5l/100km
