Sorry but do you really have experiance, because when I listen to your comments you have still a lot too learn. Every rider knows that you must jump or overtake when you can. One line or 2 doesn't matter if you are really that fast you can always overtake.......i didn't want too by offencief.

I ordered the T1 ST plus in a large. I test Rod a medium at a LBS and it felt a little too small for me.(5’11”) The new plus series has more range, came in a large and has a display which is far superior to the buttons IMO, in addition 70 miles of range but 3 pounds heavier which is a good trade off. This will be my first E-bike, during the last 5 years after retirement I have 15K on a pedal bike and am finding the hills are getting a little more difficult. When I tested the T1 ST I rode it up a decent hill and it was just enough of a boost to make the hill enjoyable. I also pedaled on the flats with zero assistance and it was just like a normal bike. The only thing I might add is a suspension stem which on my Giant Toughroad made the bike extremely comfortable on gravel and rough surfaces.

I had a 2013 Cannondale CX4 hybrid bike for ten years. Decided to upgrade, then realized I could just rebuild to THIS! I put a full Deore groupset, four piston brakes, xt rotors, 35mm riser stem, flat bar with 5dg backsweep, suspension seat post, WTB Saddle, rockshox air suspension fork, Ergonomic grips, WTB Raddler 44mm(widest tires QR frame would fit),. Its AWESOME! All Parts Cost me just about $600 online, lil by lil as I transitioned all parts myself.! THE MOST FUN I EVER HAD! I love the Marin, but adding suspension for this OLD Man was a must, plus a more upright position. You can build this bike easily from any hybrid bike you probably already have and customize to your liking.

Is there any way to unlock throttle limit on this bike?

Thanks for this awesome video! Such a compelling all-in-one do-everything bike! Curious, you mention there is plenty of room for bigger tires. However, it appears the stock 45 tires fill out that fork. Do you think more tire could fit in there? Thanks again for the video!

Nice setup - steel is right up my alley. I was just looking for framesets. If you know any other good steel "all terrain" bikes or frames, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Love the color way,all the mounting points and that impressive tire clearance. Great review and “shake out” ride! I’m starting to think about getting a newer geo gravel frame and building up a retro XC mountain bike because the numbers are starting to merge. I’ve seen some smaller frame builders that are doing this already with a flat bar gravel and a mullet drive train. Why not, life is full of possibilities!

We love a flat bar gravel bike! And I agree with the you about the color and mounting points. What a time to ride bikes!

2nd season on my Katahdin and still on a honeymoon!! Reactive, stable, robust, fast! Capable of single track trail, and absolutely fun bikepacking! Had the chance to go directly to Panorama's shop to get it and talk with the awesome people over there!! Love this bike! Mine's built on 650b wheels and 47mm wide tires, which I wasn't too sure at first, but I believe it is a more fun bike that way. Don't get me wrong, it is a serious bike!

That’s awesome! The apollo is still such a sweet bike. I love how this one is “mountain bike tested”, whatever that means. But sounds tough! The matte green goes crazy too

not bad, but not as good as BoodaBike. Disc brake + sliding dropout will never be good toghether. If you have an FM fork use FM brakes not ugly big adapters. For Gravel Alu is a no go. Cromo or carbon.

Thank you for the review, sir. Glad to hear this from a local boy. I like to ride at Mount Diablo, is it possible to change the front chain ring on the T1 ST? I would like to make it perhaps 36 teeth instead of 42 teeth.

My mom had a mountain bike from the late 90's early 2000's... I put bar ends in the center that I could ride distance comfortably, kinda like a triathlon setup. It had front suspension, but I always had it locked out. Since then I've had fixed gears, carbon roadies, full suspension XC bikes, etc. But, nothing comes close to the fun I had on my moms old Giant Rincon!!!

I did kind of a similar thing, except I bought the Brilliant L-Train, the now-discontinued version with the 8-speed Alfine hub and disc brakes. Then I put 40mm Goodyear County tires on it. I mainly did that because it was like half the price of the Apollo, but also I wanted a steel frame.

I am an avid cyclist who rides 100 miles/week both road and trail. I was tired of having to clean and lube my bikes every week and so decided to buy a belt-drive bike - before I saw this video. I bought an Apollo in October 2023 and rode it pretty much exclusively through the winter. The positive is that truly, it has been maintenance free so far and I absolutely love this aspect of the bike. However, there are a few negatives, including: 1) there is noticeable drive train resistance even after drastically reducing the belt tension. I think this is due to the oil-filled gear hub which makes it feel like you are riding a fluid-trainer. The belt on my bike was set so tight by the factory that the bike was almost un-ridable when I first got it. I lowered the tension a lot which helped significantly. 2) I got a flat tire, thankfully near the end of my ride so I was able to ride home. Repairing a flat on this bike is not fun, especially if you are from home when it happens. You will want to go tubeless, get slime-filled tubes, or use an insert - do this BEFORE you get a flat! 3) it is a heavy bike at almost 30lbs. Given the weight and the greater spinning resistance you will not be able to ride as fast as on your chain-drive bike. My rides are about 20% slower than if I am on my carbon road bike. Buyers of this bike will need to watch several videos on how to maintain and adjust it. Not a problem, but riding a belt drive with an internally geared hub is a totally different paradigm than a chain drive. KEY TIP - don't shift while spinning! Don't get me wrong, I have no regrets about buying the Apollo, but I think potential buyers should know what to expect.

When you first set it up flat bar, I noticed you had the Red Shift stem on it. Any reason why you replaced it when you went drop bar? I have the pro version (just for weight weenie reasons) and kinda love it.
