Mt. Tam? My first gravel bike was a aluminum 2009 Giant TCX w/ canti brakes. The gearing was not so great looking back, climbing in Marin was insanely difficult!

When you first set it up flat bar, I noticed you had the Red Shift stem on it. Any reason why you replaced it when you went drop bar? I have the pro version (just for weight weenie reasons) and kinda love it.

Cool frame and love the tire clearance, but 72.5 degrees isn’t where I’d want to be descending those loose fire roads. Way too twitchy.

I agree with you on that one. It does make it more fun on road. But 72.5 is pretty steep for defending gravel/chunky stuff.

What headset did you use? Looks tidy

Yeah it does! It’s an integrated headset. Syre supplied the bearings and tension cap. Super sweet
