Tropic Thunder and Iron Man both came out in 2008

There is always the potential for bias, from the personal level to the state level. It is only a matter of degree of bias. The Soviet union did cover up the whole event, an event that sent radiation around the world affecting everyone. This was a world event in which everyone has a right to express themselves. Yes elements were added to make the "Hollywood" representation/story complete, but at its core, the Soviets did do this, and the failure was completely avoidable, if it were not for the Soviet system. The Soviets were/are so biased in their handling and sharing of the information, that to claim bias on the part of the production company or any other country pales in comparison to the bias and corruption of the Soviet union itself who holds all of the facts, of which not all have likely been released (probably destroyed). It would be the equivalent, and also highly biased, to claim then that the Soviets can't tell any story about anything that happens outside of the Soviet union, and/or without using American actors. It seems that only certain voices (i.e. the U.S.) are suggested to be suppressed but not others.

0:06 Speaking on the "Avengers Universe" this film actually featured an alternate Nick Fury scene. In the scene right before Fury turns around to face Tony he says "As if Gamma Accidents, Radioactive bug bites, assorted Mutants were enough. I have to deal with a spoiled brat who doesnt play well with others and wants to keep all his toys to himself". Gamma Accidents being a a reference to The Hulk who's movie is next but the other two mentions are the most important ones. Radioactive bug bites is a reference to Spider-Man who in the comics was bitten by a Radioactive spider or a genetically modified one like seen in the Spider-Man (2002) you watched. And Mutants is of course a reference to The X-Men, yet to watch X-Men but you both watched the two Deadpool movies. In the comics all these teams and characters exist together within the same universe. Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Deadpool, iron Man etc. Why was this scene removed? Well Sony owned the movie rights to Spider-Man so I don't think Marvel wanted to deal with any legal issues or give people false hope in that Spider-Man will one day be introduced into the MCU. Better to not set something up than never have it come true down the line. Same with the X-Men who during this time were owned by Fox. The term Mutant was simply a word they couldn't mention in the MCU as that was apart of the Fox/Marvel agreement. This is also why the X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four have never crossed over for legal reasons. Spider-Man was brought into the MCU so that's why you'll see Spider-Man films that are set in the MCU. Sony and Marvel were able to come to an agreement for them to work together on MCU Spider-Man movies. As of 2019 Disney/Marvel now own the rights to X-Men and Fantastic Four so they're able to finally introduce them into the MCU it's just a matter of how and when. Difficult to introduce two important teams along with millions of Mutants when they've never shown up throughout the universe.

There are so many small details, an object or a line in a movies that come back down the journey, some are even way down the line.

The firefighters at Chernobyl knew what was could happen (unlike in the series) but went anyway. The Pripyat fire brigades were supposed to have radiation gear but it was backlogged. The 'taste of metal' is a common sign of radiation poisoning, it's caused by cells lining your mouth dying. It sometimes happens to chemotherapy patients too. Its also why they lose the ability to taste soon after.

When Tony Stark said I am Iron Man that was a big deal because no one in the comic book knew Tony was Iron Man. So for the movie to do that that's when comic fan knew the MCU was going to diverge from the comic book accurate storyline tropes. Also in comic books The Arc reactor acts as his heart because it was completely removed. The arc reactor was not just a high-powered electromagnet providing a shield around Tony Stark's nervous system.

Spider-Man and Daredevil are kind of the only super heroes that have secret identities in the modern Marvel universe. There might be a couple more, but they are not well known. So, it's not just Iron Man. People know who Bruce Banner is. They know who Steve Rogers is. They know Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton are trained assassins. Stan Lee was a huge fan of DC when he was younger, but there were certain things that annoyed him. The secret identities was one of them. Steve Ditko was more traditional in that aspect and was able to push for some to have secret identities. He eventually went to go work for DC, because his ideas were more inline with what DC was doing.

The file that he uploaded from his computer to his suit links his superficial nerves to the suit so that when he tend to do something,the suit does the same. So its not like he is carrying the entire suit, the suit moves with him.

Tolkien was a WWI veteran, and Frodo's ending comes out of that mostly. He went through something horribly traumatic, and it's changed him forever. However, that doesn't mean his life is over. When he leaves Middle Earth, he goes to the Undying Lands where he's able to heal. Bilbo is included in this as well because of his time as a ring bearer. The ending is sad, but hopeful. Also, once Sam has lived a long and happy life, he also sails across the sea since he carried the ring briefly too. Actually, the others who go with Frodo are mostly ring bearers: Elrond, Gandalf, and Galadriel are the bearers of the three elvin rings. Elrond's face in that final scene is so touching. He's finally going to see his wife for the first time in centuries. For Galadriel and Gandalf, it's a return home. He was sent as a support against Sauron, and now that his mission is done, he can return. Knowing that Galadriel has been living in exile due to a choice she made before the sun was even created makes her ending so meaningful. She is the only one of her siblings and cousins left in Middle Earth. Her parents never left Valinor, so she hasn't seen them in millennia. Add to that the fact that Elrond's wife is also her daughter, and this ending becomes so happy. Also, the little girl in the last scene who runs to hug Sam was his real life daughter, and the baby Rosie was holding was her real life baby.
