I have a ‘71 machine 1 “H” code automatic. Love this series and these mustangs. But, I have a question, front bumper is painted, and the rear bumper is chrome…why? I know Ford did this but again, why?

Nice job, thank you! Any additional tips on getting the glass into the rollers? like which angle, or which roller first?
@FamilysGarageКүн бұрын
Thank you, no, you just gotta play with it. It’ll really only go on one way once you get one of the rollers on the track, it will only slide enough to put the other one on one way or the other.

Working on my 97. Yes I have the same upper arms, only running 215/70 15. Yes, I have exhaust. The header helps all rpm range. Awd PLM 4-2-1 2.5" collector. So far so good couple trips in the mud already.

Hi, thank you for your notice on my comment…. When I first start the car and let it sit for 2 min, my reverse is fine, is after I drive it for 5 to 20 min and I put her in reverse or grinds…. Your explanation makes sense can’t wait to try it…. Heard that the trans oil is still not diluted cause of the heat, … ??? Would love to have your expertise on this matter, thank you, Steve

If you notice that after your first coat of primer you need to go back and add more filler, do you need to sand the primer off? Tnx.
@FamilysGarage27 күн бұрын
No, just scuff it with 80 so the filler has something to grab onto😎

I love t tops but unfortunately they all leak simply because the previous owners didn’t replace the seals and you end up with rottin floors etc, preventive maintenance folks .👍

I needs that cluster for my LS supercharged swb fleet ‘73 c10….its white with a blue ghost pearl flake and 20” halibrands 20x8.5” in the front 20x10.5” in the rear…..ive been considering doing a 5/7” drop next…its really tempting….or a TKX 5spd to replace the 3200 stalled th350 in front of the 3.73 twelve bolt rear……originally it was a 250” straight 6 with a granny low 4 spd when i got it, with half the motor missing, had the seller trailer it home for me for an extra $150 and had that motor/trans out and a LS with auto trans powered by a terminator X within a week of bringing it home….the supercharger was added within the next 90 days, best upgrade ever, along with the dual glasspacks that exit before the rear tires……i almost love that truck as much as my LSA swapped nova….the LSA blowers boost comes on damn near instantly but the c10’s vortech centrifugal v-3sci supercharger just sounds soooo much cooler and is a very simple design….im pretty sure i gotta couple videos on them if you click on the picture of the little nova next to my name….i also painted the nova white with a green ghost pearl in my garage around 5 years ago….it was the first car i actually painted with a compressor and actual auto paint and clear coat …..and not just cheap $1 walmart spray cans like i had been doin for the 20+ yrs before that….go check out the videos….they are short literally 2/3 minutes….maybe 4 at the longest….oh yeah i almost forgot to say….WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK, cant wait to see the build when its closer to being finished

Haha! I watched at least four or five "how to" videos, but when it came time for me to install that rubber, I went back and watched them all again! Then, all of a sudden, this video pops up out of no where, a virtual gift from the lord of frustration himself! First off, you're lucky you have a helper, I'm stuck with my banged up hands. I took my frame apart because I thought it might be easier to put the rubber, I haven't started it yet, just came in today. It looks like it's going to be just like they say. Anyway, thanks for putting this together, it's going to be well used for sure. Happy trails.
