The kids want it running! Returning dad's '56 F100 to the streets after a decade of storage. Part 1

A late father's prize truck has been sitting for a decade or so, the girls want it back on the streets to honor their dad. Follow along as we return it to the streets. In this first episode we tackle recovery and start up. After that we'll move into steering and brakes, then final assembly and road testing!

That's a cool color, like a brandywine? He's got some kinda weird fade going on with it. Pretty sure I would have sold the Mustang too, but got back to this cool truck! Couldn't help but notice the fact he put a 53-55 F100 fuel tank and fill in his 56. That is certainly odd, haven't seen that done, most people dislike that tank setup. Looks like its a 351W too, which is super cool. Probably a 69-73..? The large plug years. The smaller plug started in '74. Usually get away with just using 68-73 SBF Car or truck Radiator hoses in most cases. The ol' custom bent metal coat hangar taken to the parts store is always a fan favorite. I refuse to use that universal trash. Speaking of trash, wiggly fuel pump arms are NOT a Ford thing, they are a china junk parts thing... getting all too common these days. Truck seems to sound pretty good! Looking forward to more of this project!
