Is the gel supposed to look hard? I got mine today but it doesn’t really look like a gel, it looks more like a hard paste and I don’t know if I should use it like that
@TerynAParker18 күн бұрын
Mine resembles a paste too, but it’s pliable like a gel. Around the edge of the jar you can see where it’s hardened.

I think bbl fashion should be more about the waist to hip ration because if it fits your butt it doesn’t fit the waist and vice versa. Like what do you wear after bbl other than stuff taylor made ?
@TerynAParkerАй бұрын
The bodycon style helps alleviate that issue. A lot of knit fabrics, and from what I can tell is people (with and without BBLs or other body modifications) will buy one to two sizes down to fit the waist in particular.

so is it fine right if i use ceramide moisturiser AFTER clindamycin &/ benzac? i usually don't wear any skincare during my antibiotic, but since i add on benzac, i notice my skin totally dry so i can't help but need to use moisturiser. it won't interfere my antibiotic right? 😢 P/S: i got antibiotic from pharmacy, so as you can see i have no specific doctor to entertain me 😭 i would appreciate if any of you can help me 😢
@TerynAParker18 күн бұрын
Sorry for the late response! You can apply moisturizer after you treat with clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide. There are some great dermatologists on KZbin who have very informative videos!

How long after I apply Clindamycin Benzoyl Peroxide do i wash it off? Because I sweat a lot when I'm at the gym and I don't want it to bleach my clothes when running down my face.

I don’t wash it off. It sets into my skin, and then I apply my sunscreen. It may be helpful if you use it as a spot treatment or only use it at night.

Niacinimide is comparable to clindamycin in reducing acne except w out the sid effects. Plus niacinimde reduces redness and brightens the skin
@TerynAParkerАй бұрын
I’ve very familiar with niacinamide and it’s present in a lot of my skincare products. 🤎 Clindamycin is an antibiotic used to treat acne and skin issues caused by bacteria. It really all depends on the source of your acne or issue with your skin, and what your desired result is.

One thing that’s never mentioned is that, you have to get rid of the acne breakouts before working on fixing the dark spots. If you do it while you still have a lot of breakouts it will do absolutely nothing 😩
@TerynAParker2 ай бұрын
I’ve covered that while documenting my skincare journey. It’s also been mentioned by every dermatologist and esthetician I’ve seen. Fortunately, there are products/ingredients that can target both acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation simultaneously. 🤎

How do you get all of it to dry? E.g. the front
@TerynAParker3 ай бұрын
The front is never the issue for me, but the back 👎🏾 I will supplement with a handheld blower sometimes, but I typically shift the hooded dryer, prop myself up on a cushion or sometimes stand and shift my hand to get it dry or mostly dry.

@TerynAParker3 ай бұрын
You should contact your dermatologist. Be sure to let them know if you are spot treating or applying it all over, and the amount you are using. Also let them know what other products you are using and if they have any active ingredients. I I haven’t had that side effect. It may be possible that your skin barrier needs to heal which may be not using any actives and focusing on moisturizing, hydrating, and protecting your skin from the sun. I hate that happened to you.

Hey, I started using tretinoin 3 months back for slight acne. Now my acne has gone and I want some anti ageing benefits 😅 Should I switch to adapalene (since it has lesser side effects) or continue using tretinoin?

I just started the same clindamycin/bezoyl peroxide gel, (fully stopped different skincare treatment and started this one) 4-5 days ago, is it normal to get new breakouts right when you start? Like a mini purge?
@TerynAParker4 ай бұрын
If you’re using it alongside tretinoin, a purge wouldn’t be abnormal. If you aren’t, I would say you may be having a reaction, but it could also be breakouts that are just now surfacing.
