Hi, I just wanted to say a big THANKYOU to both yourself and Paula for these videos! I ran my first parkrun after watching the video and it gave me so much confidence (Riverside), I then ran my second parkrun at a different location (Herrington) and watched your video again to prepare myself for the run. Keep it up! Your videos are so motivational and you’re both fab! X

Hi Rich, new shoes eh, what made you choose them btw? I’ve got 2 pairs of new trainers upstairs, I need to try them out but it’s a bit muddy at the moment😂Layers, I thought you had a lot on at the start, I usually run with a long sleeved top even in winter💪😊

@@AndyCliffMTB I had a pair of Adidas before and really liked them, and I saw these on a special offer so I thought I'd give them a try. So far, so good but I'd love to try the carbon ones to see the difference. I always seem to wear too many layers in winter which is something I need to change as I've had these problems a few times. I need to dress for mile 2!

Echo all the positives from this review. One additional negative that I've found is font size on some of the workout screens. Despite having 'Large Fonts' switched on, I can't read some of the digits e.g. countdown for rest/recovery. There's ample screen real estate available, yet they've sized those digits to a minimum and squirreled them away in a small side area. There's loads of blank space remaining on that screen to accommodate larger digits. Anyone with any solutions I'm not aware of?
@abitrich68
@abitrich68 5 күн бұрын
@@JohnLavender-w2v yeah they are a bit small but I'm just about okay with them, even without my glasses. I think you can change the screens but not sure if that makes them bigger?

@@abitrich68 I've used some of the available 3rd party data screens with previous Garmins and customised the standard screens. However, I haven't found any way of tailoring the workout display screens.

I love the funky coloured strap. Black gets boring. But i do wish we could have Amoled screens on all the watches. I've got the Fenix 7 but i wish it had Amoled. I guess that would make it more expensive though.
