Nothing wrong with advocating for AI. It's another tool in the box. Use all the tools to make the best products you can. This is especially true for indie creators.

@@createscifi I believe only a certain level of people can use AI in their stuff... For example if you're a million / billion dollar company you should not be using AI... Now if you're one of the independent people that don't have money to spare, I'm okay with that

Sometimes you can find colored sheets of plastic at Dollar Tree. They are for wrapping flowers or whatever, but they would save a lot of money if you just need to light something small like this.

Using AI as a tool is one thing, using AI to sell products based on someone else's work is what's in question. As long as you're putting hands on it after the fact then it's the perfect use of AI.

If you have any more of those plastic catering trays that your using for your wall paneling I could see taking one of the rectangular ones, cutting out the central flat rectangle from the bottom, paining it up to match, and inserting something similar to add that point of interest in a very cohesive way with the rest of your set rather than having the flat panel be not recessed in another wall.

I am a severely disabled artist from Germany and will slowly loose the ability to use my hands in the future (MS is a bitch). I started incorporating AI in my workflow and it is such a godsend and is a huge source for hope. I‘ll be able to stay creative, even when my body won‘t allow that anymore. Sadly in the dawn of generative AI some artists used the hype to promote themselves and spread misinformation and panic throughout the art community that sparked a huge outcry against these new tools and keep a lot of young artists from preparing for a future in that they need the skills to use these tools efficiently. Sadly all of those artists that now whine that AI kills their jobs prevent themselves from being employable in the future and that thanks to a small group of people using the fear of the unknown to gain more following and generate money. But this was the problem with every new advancement. Artists cried because of cameras, when photoshop was invented, when people use references it is cheating and so on and so forth. I really love the art community but in parts they are totally batshit insane. So, after a long rant: there is nothing wrong with using ai systems. It is not stealing, it is not cheating - it is a great tool!

I only use AI for concept and design. I also have no money, I can’t afford and assistant or a designer. Ai helps me view options, create new ideas. I never use the works I generate to sell things, only to help visualize how something could look like

The point here isn't for ANTHONY to make a film using AI.. he's showing the "Backyard Filmmakers" who are the audience, how they can use an accessible tool to help their low/no/shoestring budget productions. Anthony has nearly 50,000 subscribers that he could certainly abuse for free labor.. but he's teaching US how to work on projects of some scale and competence when we don't have access to a huge legion of eager followers willing to pay on Patreon or do free labor.

@@zebragrrl most ppl have a couple of hours to make something like that, given they don't have a fix deadline. Or they have friends who can help. Or they can log into twitter, deviantart, artstation, a discord group or anything you want and take a look around at smaller artists who would be happy for some advertisement. At X you can just announce you need someone to do this or that, you can't pay or at most a coffee but they will be credited. In an hour you'll get at least a dozen of proposal
