BOOK SPOILER: so the real reason as to why she became “the wicked witch of the west” is because during her…let’s say, “rebellion” against MM and the wizard, she reconnect with Fiyero. Long story short, he was married since a young age, he had 3 kids, he fell in love with Elphaba, but he passed away (it’s a long explanation) elphaba sought out forgiveness from Fiyero’s wife and traveled to vinkus, to the west, With her and Fiyero’s son Liir. She never did get to admit their affair or get the forgiveness she wanted, but ended up residing there until her end. :)👍

It's about some one who isn't capable of having an original idea of their own , taking someone else's. You can fool all of the people some of the time. That's what this film teaches us.
