Frank looks like a white version of Carlton. Maybe it’s the Sauvignon talking lol.

That small bit of hope Will had that the gun wasn't actually loaded is just sad. He was holding onto that hope that Carlton wouldn't actually do it

This is my first time watching this scene. It brought me to tears. He played the hell out his lines. It was believable. The slow crackin his voice showed his fear, guilt and life flashing before his eyes at the very real moment of reality hitting him on realizing he actually could've hurt Carlton

Uncle Phil was the best. Ass chewing was warranted. And so was his forgiveness.

*extended scene* Phillip “Uncle Phil” Banks: I want you both to pack your things and *in an angry roaring screaming voice* *GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!* Hilary Banks: *screamed while bawling and sobbing as she ran to pack her stuff and ran out of the house* William “Will” Smith: *sadly, guilty and remorseful* Yes sir, Uncle Phillip *as he packed his things and walked away*

Will’s punishment should’ve been reduced to one month grounded. Hilary got him in trouble on purpose, that brat.

Most kids who go to private schools are sheltered and come from wealthy families. Which can make them snooty and oblivious.

Uncle Phil is exactly how I would envision how God is with his children: discipline and just but filled with compassion, comfort and grace.

I feel like the audience was reading the scene wrong and when Carlton threw the bedside table, everybody got the idea was this not a scripted part of the scene that way people understood it was a serious moment. I certainly hope so because damn was I really into this part of the scene?

Thank you for making the video long enough to cover Carlton's line about owing Will and giving him anything he wanted. Will certainly pulled that card when he forced Carlton to give up the gun.

I love how they never fave a reason why he cried about the gun, it could he be experienced and saw a lot of gun-related crimes and deaths in Philly where he came from. Or It could be because he is traumatized from what happened to him. Or Carlton is. Or just the situation, his cousin changing because of the violence they’ve experienced. Great writing ✍🏽
