I would love an on-screen list of MX4D/4DX capabilities, with the capabilities the movie used checked. It might help standardize talking point order and video bookmarks.

Hey Dan I saw it twice in 4dx and I liked it more on the 2nd viewing. I went alone on the first show and with my girl on the 2nd round. I really like the wind effect when the ship was flying in space. I like the tap on the back when the face hugger got one of the character. I enjoyed the floating feeling when the ship took off. Overall a good time at the movies will be looking forward to your future 4dx reviews. Oh on the 30th I will be seeing Twister 1996 in 4dx I predict it will be a blast.

@@theupsidedan just finished seeing this move (my first ever 4DX) in Orlando today! It was fantastic and I appreciate your review, which I feel was spot on. I hope that this format will become more widespread so more viewers can experience this type of theatrical content. I believe this is the type of immersive content needed to get ticket sales back up and allow theaters to thrive. Thanks for your content and channel! Keep up the great work!

Thank you for commenting and sorry for the delay in responding. I've seen warnings outside the theater on this. I think it's recommended not to see it in 4DX.

I felt the exact same way. It smelled like tomatoes and very earthy but matched the alien vibe very well for some weird reason

Im seeing mixed reviews for the 4dx of this movid but i think thats due to the experience of twisters in 4dx. Which to me isnt a fair comparison because if a movie is good the 4dx just takes it up a notch imo. Twisters is a good 4dx but not every 4dx movie needs to be bombastic and crazy, it just needs to add to the movie. So Im watching it tomorrow and i think i will agree with you that its a really good 4dx experience.

Finally a good horror movie in 4DX. Quiet place was such a terrible 4DX experience and waste of money but this alien movie sounds like an actual fun time. Thanks for the update!

If you get a popcorn whether it is big or small. Eat half of it as the popcorn will fly off in the air

Haha. So I rarely have issues with my concessions spilling. I'm usually holding the top of my cup as it's in the cup holder. If the seat next to me is empty I put my popcorn on there and I'll hold that as well or if I have a shopping bag or sweatshirt/jacket I'll put that in front of it and that usually works. Furiousa was the only 4DX movie where a lot of my popcorn spilled. Sometimes I'll put my concessions on the ground next to me (I'm usually in a side seat). Thanks for commenting!

Yes definitely go see twister for 4dx over Deadpool and Wolverine, and go see Deadpool and Wolverine in normal screen. However there is just less 4dx effects overall with twister than Deadpool and Wolverine though.

I’m looking more forward to Aliens in 4DX! But I think Borderlands is gonna be fun! I didn’t play the games so I don’t have any preconceived notions about the film or casting! And I definitely look forward to seeing twisters again!!

Surprised that there was alot of down time sounds but i can only imagine that opening sequence would be a blast in 4DX, i regret not checking out Twisters in 4DX but def sounds like there was some issues in your screen but glad you had a blast with it great video man

Thank you so much! Yeah, my 4DX theater was just not working as well as usual because I saw it again in 4DX and it was much better in the format the second time. Twisters (and the original Twister) is coming back to 4DX starting August 30th for one week!
