I loved this in 4DX! Movie was so good, and the movements elevated all those space scenes. I was in awe a couple of times. Glad I didn't see this solely in IMAX.

Awesome and very detailed review! I had a specific question though about the amount of seat jolting lol Already seen the movie in Dolby and Imax, but now thinking about 4DX and wondering how often does the seat aggressively jolt/moves throughout the movie? 😂 I'm guessing mainly during the crash scenes lol I get headaches easily is why, but all the other sensory effects are totally ok for me funny enough

Thanks for the review, will watch it in 4DX. I love 4DX but watch movies only after seeing them in IMAX first. Have you seen Alien Romulus in ScreenX? That's yet another great movie experience.

Hey Dan I saw it twice in 4dx and I liked it more on the 2nd viewing. I went alone on the first show and with my girl on the 2nd round. I really like the wind effect when the ship was flying in space. I like the tap on the back when the face hugger got one of the character. I enjoyed the floating feeling when the ship took off. Overall a good time at the movies will be looking forward to your future 4dx reviews. Oh on the 30th I will be seeing Twister 1996 in 4dx I predict it will be a blast.

I would love an on-screen list of MX4D/4DX capabilities, with the capabilities the movie used checked. It might help standardize talking point order and video bookmarks.

I felt the exact same way. It smelled like tomatoes and very earthy but matched the alien vibe very well for some weird reason

@@theupsidedan just finished seeing this move (my first ever 4DX) in Orlando today! It was fantastic and I appreciate your review, which I feel was spot on. I hope that this format will become more widespread so more viewers can experience this type of theatrical content. I believe this is the type of immersive content needed to get ticket sales back up and allow theaters to thrive. Thanks for your content and channel! Keep up the great work!
