Did you see the whale bones in Whitby and I sympathise with those steep steps on the way up to Dracula's Castle. Looks like you had great roads on the way across country to the west coast. Most enjoyable viewing. 👀

I literally live a couple of minutes from the Triumph centre and I've never been! 🤭 shame on me 😞 what a great mix of bikes, that Kawasaki 350 triple took me back to my teenage years, I still love two strokes!

just enjoyed watching .always good to see the local roads from your bikes . the work on the A 5 is to do with all the new housing on the opposite side of the road . nice to see Dick Shepherd there ,a real nice person . We went to Triumph yesterday Friday and had a nice couple of hours ,met some nice people . hope to see you both there in the future . best wishes .

We love the Triumph bike nights. We know a lot of the staff there including Pete who was in your video. That Victory is quite an incredible bike.... huge and you certainly don't see many on the road. @@BanditmanukI am a disabled rider my left side is very weak so I brought the new Triumph speed 400 which is low and light! I have had the Triumph 1200 before and many others! But this suits me for now! All the best to you both look forward to your next one 👍

Carol must have felt like Royalty sitting on DB's bike, she'll be giving us a tour of Beckingham palace next 😊 Personally I'm not a fan, firstly he played for the wrong side and more importantly I don't do celebrity. Some lovely bikes, that Victory was a real work of art 😯👍😊

@exeterrider If you ever make it up this way, you're welcome to call by here. We're about 25 minutes from the factory. Yep, We're not into the themed bikes, but I guess they wouldn't build them if they didn't sell. The best bit for us is the Dick Shepherd collection. Dick greeted us like a long-lost friend when we arrived and invited Carol to try his Beckham bike for size. His museum collection there is stunning

Great ride there from you both, some nice looking roads around Hawes, as a softy southerner and now living in SW Ireland have to confess to never having been up to Whitby, so thanks for the look around. @@Banditmanuk I have to say the quality of your vids is awesome, they're a credit to you both. I record lots of footage of our trips to look at later and am slowly improving on my techniques. We did pretty well, 2 wet days out of 13 but didn't hold us back. We are definitely coming back and will do it by ourselves. Looking forward to your next vid. Cheers

@nicksmith1402 We appreciate you saying. It's sort of an evolution with the vids. The early ones years ago were long and boring. Since Carol passed her test and became involved in the channel, we've tried to make better edited entertaining vids. We still predominantly made the vids for ourselves to look back on in later years. You definitely get more of a sense of satisfaction organising your own trips. Stop when you want to stop. My only advice with the filming would be, don't record hours and hours of riding footage. Just short sections or you lose the will to look through it all later and edit.

A wee reminder of the Motley Crew Coast to Coast tour in 2022 we did Robin Hoods Bay to Saint Bees trying to follow the Ride magazine C to C route, we gave up on that plan in the end as the weather was horrendous and concocted our own route.

Hi Richard & Carol. Firstly, my eml has been on for nearly 2 years and no problems whatsoever. When I lubed my chain, I put a paddock stand under the rear. I fired the bike up and put it into first gear and sprayed the chain as it ticked over and it was this that put the EML on. Ridiculous, that it then needs a Yamaha dealer to put it out. However, with yours having done much more miles than mine and it coming on just during normal riding, I would just get it checked as it could be a sensor or somesuch. I did think you might have mentioned the fantastic Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow gauge Railway. Beautiful little engines. However Rich, another super vid.. and I love the Legacy of Valour music at the end. It's a beautiful piece and a great choice for that beautiful scenery.

We did mention the railway last time we stayed in Ravenglass at the Pennington (just after the covid restrictions lifted) It is a brilliant railway which we've taken the kids on many years back. I imagine the price of fish and chips in Whitby is so high is because they don't land any cod at Whitby or anywhere local like Grimsby or Hull these days and it costs a fortune to transport it in from overseas. Surely it wouldn't be just to rip off the tourists - that's not like the UK!

BOOBIES.. I recently changed my net to get 500Mb/s + and i don't have to suffer buffering now when watching 4k vids. the quality of your colour correction and sympathetic sound scape Just awesome.. I looked for the boobies AS you do . being a bloke with red running in his veins :))). Loving revisiting all your vlogs in full 4k.. that single road from the village of Glen Coe to the pap of Glen coe is very special. Pun intended..🤓🙏🎼🎧🎬📽

We've changed to full fibre, it's great isn't it. It's not had many views but this video is one of our all time favourites. Love the area and gives us great memories of a week riding in Scotland in full sun. KZbin stats show us there is a massive watch spike in a certain area of this video 🤣🤣I missed it completely!

Another good trip for the list (which is getting quite big now!) I went to Hawes on a ride up to the Tan Hill pub a couple of years back. Superb place and scenery. I can't wait to go back. Love the pics of you both. Nice touch👍

Nice ride and video. That pub room was mahoosive. A whole suite. But you wanna do this coast to coast by bicycle. A great ride Whitby to Whitehaven. Some do it in one day. I did it in two about 20 years ago. Could still do it in two days just about. £17 for fish n chips is extortionate. How about doing a coast2coast Great Yarmouth to Machynlleth? A Yamaha dealer, if you take it to one, will see your MT10's EML as an Easy Money Light.

I admire those who can 👍 I like the sound of the Yarmouth to Machynlleth..... always looking for video ideas 💡 £17.00 for fish and chips? Maybe wrapped in paper as a takeout but eaten in with great service (and absolutely the most amazing wc facilities). It wasn't that bad. I've only ever seen my dealer when I bought the bike and at its yearly service. I trust them not to rip me but as I'm going to film the experience, you can all tell me what you think 👍

Great video, well filmed and you two are good company , well done. Touring videos on naked bikes are much better than the ones with adventure bikes with plastic screens taking up half the view. Hope no big issues with the MT10.

@05gt99 Thanks, we really appreciate the kind words. You are the first person to mention the unrestricted view forward, but it's something I notice on other people's videos. We love touring on naked bikes. The other plus point is in warm temperatures, you do get a cooling breeze. Don't think there's much wrong with the MT10. It's going in on Tuesday, so I will take my camera and report back how badly my wallet has been damaged!
