I live in vineland ontario, one of those flys over quite often. Strangely, I also lived on Highams Hill, opposite the end of RAF Biggin Hill runway. Got to feel the Vulcan bombers after burner 😂

Couldn't agree more My grand uncle flew Lancaster's over Germany many times the aircraft always brought him back even on 3 engines on one occasion He would be disgusted to see what Britain has fallen into today A Muslim country where an Englishman has no rights left yet the invaders get everything

Beautiful plane, the Lancaster. Really interesting to see the bare engine cradle structure. Thank you.

To those in occupied Europe, the Merlin wzs the sound of liberation and freedom. Today it sounds like Poetry in Motion. Just incredible !

What a beautiful but lethal looking aircraft, it's a shame more original ones weren't saved.

Can someone go around the world and destroy all the Me-262s? The terror jet killed my American grandparents and it’s an illegal sky terror weapon.

It looks rather empty now, but with a full crew and holding ammunition and personal protection weapons, it would be a tight fit for everyone.
@daveybyrden3936
@daveybyrden3936 Жыл бұрын
It looks empty because it doesn't have the radio rack, the commander's chair, the ammunition bins, the water bottle and gas mask storage, the manual gearbox, the antenna spring, the electrical link to the turret, and probably a lot of other things that I can't even check because this videographer never peered upwards into the turret.

@@daveybyrden3936 - Yes, but mostly it lacks its two man crew. As photos show, a Pzkw I is shorter than most men. It's remarkable that more than 1000 of them served in panzerdivisionen during Case Yellow.

What impresses me the most is the running gear. That big bar attached to the wheels is what truly marks a Pzkw I.

Those sorts of tanks were sent to Spain to help General Franco troops during the Spanish Civil War. As far as I know the were named " NEGRILLOS " by the Spanish tank crew. " NEGRILLOS " mean: SMALL BLACK ONES, due to their size and originally dark colour.

My uncle was a bomb aimer in a Lancaster,during the war, and was the only survivor when his plane was shot down over Amiens. His crew are all buried in Amiens cemetery. We’ve been to East Kirkby museum on several occasions. It is an amazing glimpse of wartime history.
