This man is related to me through both the Neville (his mother) and Greville lines. His great grandfather Sir Edward Greville was brother of my direct ancestor Mary Greville (nee somerville). Very interesting video guys!

They are all copies of most likely a Holbein. All commissioned 50 years after Henry VIII died. Odd that they would be considered such a treasure.

The video title shows how stupid the change from Twitter to "X" was. I didn't even realize that's what was meant until halfway through lol.

Knowing what Raphe and all of England must have known of Henry VIII by then, why on earth would he even want a portrait of him? He forced England to leave the Catholic Church in order to *ANNUL* his 23 year marriage, then creates false charges against the woman he left his first wife for, has her BEHEADED, and then marries his next wife 11 DAYS after the beheading. Absolute bottom feeder, a lowlife of incredible proportions

So, what? Did they just come to yank the painting off the wall, and confiscate it? Doesn't sound like the painting was actually lost; it sounds like a bunch of pretentious twats were merely unaware of its location. It's not like it was found in an old cat burglars storage unit.

by "X" do you mean "Twitter"? No one respectable has any respect for the Boy Musk. He bought it to break it (because YOU could use it to speak truth to the power in public). It is power, and the Boy wants control.

There really needs to be an amount of time from which "finders keepers" can not be revoked by anybody. Imagine having something for 70+ years only for the government to go "ah I was looking for that, yoink"

He probably commissioned the painting to suck up to Elizabeth and the Tudors. Kinda cheesy really. I prefer the more original paintings, like Holbeins.
