I found this very interesting I too have often wondered why daisy married Lord Warwick especially since she was independently wealthy in her own right. I’m so jealous of those who get to see these breathtaking old manors and castles.

Fascinating, and well done. But such mini-documentaries ought to come with a health warning. Pace: While this generation of inherited English wealth were indulging in fun, the MASSES were enduring dire poverty and distress. It's to her credit that she embraced Socialism, but even that, I'd guess, was a kind of pose. Trendy at that time. Ironic that she should have paraded about as that guillotined French queen. Such characters were lucky to have avoided the fate of the Romanov dynasty. Basically, they were in the right place at the right time. Daresay she was a nice woman. But one who had no qualms about opening her legs for a Prince of Wales. Such was their morality - or, rather, lack of it.
