Death's harvester scythe is supposed to be huge, bigger than war's Chaoseater. and death did all of DS2 without his main weapon.

In Dark Legends its actually stated that instead of being scattered the minion hives were stolen by the First Overlord's siblings, and jester. You get the reds from the halflings who turn out to be lead by the family Jester(also a halfling) who might have used their fire powers in some way to make the weird contraption he fights you with, the greens were in the possesion of the elves who were experimenting with them as part of how they made their walking plants, and the blue hive was traded to a witch, which did something to boost the magic she was doing, creating magic candy to lure in kids and steal their teeth, which the witch gave to the tooth fairy in exchange for gold and gave the gold to the Overlord's sister as part of the deal. Presumably the witch got something else out of the kids.

Holy crap I’m replaying mgs 3 right now and I just wanted to get more lord on zero and who he really is and I had no idea he was one of the bad guys in the later games and I had no idea he was the one behind cloning snake.
