Hi, i love the DarkScreen screen set u using but when i use the "Auto X/Y/Z" button, the machine starts with Z, after that it goes to probe X but randomly it went up and not towards the probe plate. Sometimes it works. Do you know what that might cause? I'm using Mach 3 with a UC300 on my Ultimate Bee. Help much appreciated :)

Hello there I have problem with my uc300 It’s connected to mach3 but when i click on config plugins i can see the digital dream is connected but when i press config ..model shows ( unknown) it should be shown model (UC300 ) Is there any usb drive should i install or any solution should i follow to fix this? Hello, I have a question regarding tying the 2 power supply negative outputs together. I understand your point regarding not having a floating potential between them, but the GND and the COM- are electrically isolated (optical according to the manf) I checked it with an ohm meter and this is truly the case. So won’t connecting the PS negatives together defeat this isolation and leave room for some potential damage or other malfunction? Did you fully operate the controller like this without any problems. A question for you, what stepper motor drivers are you using in the video? I am using TB6600's and cannot find one with ALARM positive or negative. I have followed your builds from the very first one, love your content!

Hey! Really appreciate your videos. I'm having endless trouble getting my CNC machine up and running. I have a UC300. Is it required to have 32 bit windows 7 installed on the device? I am connecting a usb to printer cable (into the UC300 female printer cable end) and it's not recognising it as a device. I have installed the digital dream .dll plugin (digital dream is the brand of my UC300). I have iHSV47 Servo motors and got the Ultimate Bee kit. I have been trying for months and would love some help. I'm open to getting steppers instead or a totally different controller. Could you offer any advice? Thanks again.

Hi. Thank you for this very informative video. I have followed your setup completely but I have a problem with the machine not homing. When I try to home it the Z axis moves up by 1mm and the x and y axis do not move at all. Ha anyone had a similar problem and what to do to correct it.

First off, thank you so much for the videos you have made and knowledge you are willing to share. I am in the process of setting up my xpro v5 controller and ran into an issue with my hard limits (homing switches). They are wired NC & I have updated the firmware with the appropriate XYYZ_NC file. I am also using CNCjs (couldn't get very far with Universal G-code sender). If i activate a limit on the axis that is moving, it stops the axis like it should. When I send a "?" command, I receive this" <IDLE/MPos:143.880, -213.408, 55.000/FS:0,0/Pn:XYZ>" which tells me the limits are active, correct? I think that is my problem....? But if they are stopping the machine when I press one, why do they show active when not pressed? did I miss a setting in the initial set up?

This looks like exactly the video I'm going to need for wiring my tabletop plasma cutter. But I have a question I ordered the ec300 card with MPG controller from AliExpress. I ordered motor drivers and power supplies as well. I still have to order a 5 volt power supply. I found one online which is 5 amp. Would this be too many amps for the ec300? Is there anything else I should know about an ec300 controller versus a uc300 controller where are they close to the same? Thanks for any advice I've never wired or build a CNC before but I think I have the basics of it. Thanks again. Subscribed.

Very nice walk-through on the assembly of the QueenAnt machine. What size/sku# are the ball screw bearings in the end plates? I haven’t been able to find that info on their website.

I've been experimenting with the settings on my VFD, particularly the PD014 acceleration time. The reason why I started to set it differently than the suggested value is that I had some Voltage drop and I was thinking with slower acceleration, I may can avoid the ELun error. Despite adjusting it to various values like 10, 50, or 150, I'm not seeing any noticeable changes in the acceleration time. I was only able to start the spindle to 220Hz and not above. Interestingly, I was able to adjust the deceleration time without any issues. I tried PD043 to create a slow non linear ramp up, but I had no luck, it only had an effect on the deceleration. Can anyone help me, what am I missing? Could be there some another setting that might be overriding the acceleration time? I was also thinking to set PD142 to lower than 8, and other than loosing output, could it help preventing the ELun error? PD151 sounded like a solution, but no luck there also. I know I should start fixing the electricity around my workshop instead of risking melting down anything, but until Winter is on, I can't dig holes for new cabling and it would be super awesome to run my cnc even with limited power
