Confession time.............I just binge watched this entire playlist. You need to get a job at Bulk Man 3D, because you have just sold me on this machine, I'll be getting the 1500x1500 though.........just as soon as I have the funds massed up.

Hello, Could you please tel me how long is the new X axis lead screw? Is this 1031mm or 1057mm ? Thanks

Could I just ask, please: Would a clamp be better than the locking rings? I was thinking of cutting the clamp end off some spare flexi-couplings and using them as clamps. Thanks

This is exactly what i've been waiting for. I can finally run my 1500x1500 at a decent speed without as much WHIP!

hello! what kind of router / spindle do you use on your 1500x1500? i read it for that machine size there are problems with heavy routers. i planning to buy a machine, but i am so uncertain about it with these informations :(

@@korcsigaming2643 what do you mean by problem with heavy routers?
@MedBud_UK3 жыл бұрын
@@rollthetape88 the heavier spindles 5kg's Air & 6kg's Water create a bow and twisting forces on the Z Axis. The dewalt router weighs just 2kg's

Do you need longer lead screws to fit this system?

Great videos. I got the Bulkman 1010 about 4 months ago. Great COVID relief! I love the machine and i’m always impressed with accuracy and reproducibility. I do have a problem though that is infuriating. Every once in a while, unpredictably, it goes nuts. This always happens at the end of a process. At the end of a drill operation or a 2D contour or 2D adaptive clearing the spindle will retract and plunge into the spoilboard. Also restarting from a specific line in the g-code is problematic. After the warning about the transition to the new cords. My machine will go to negative z and the dig a channel to the start cords. These problems are not g-code problems and I suspect it is the VNUM. What do you think

No except you will save yourself alot of frustration by using dm542s or dm556s drivers with either syystem. The dvr drivers are nena 17 drivers. A little bit of research will show you you can easily use some quality drivers with either board.

I can't wait to get my workbee! I plan on ordering from bulkman as well. Any particular reason for going with the NMVU mach 3 vs the other controller they sell?
@francispaquette1044 жыл бұрын
mach 3 it's use in professionnal workshop so it's more easy to get info and help on that, other wise its GRBL base you have the freedom of many opensource software but the community is dispatch between them, Also many free GRBL software are really basic and easy to use on the other side Mach 3 have it's learning curve but can serve you for more purpose in the future

Instead of that bushing with set screw, use a PETG 3D printed nut with the trapezoidal threading inside and split on one side and clamp that nut with an appropriate hose clamp. I do not trust those bushings with set screws after having few of them broken because of too much torque on the screw.

Bought my first WorkBee CNC from Bulkman last June and it has been amazing project for quarantine . Your videos totally saved me when assembling. Would love to know your final motor tune and micro step settings on the TB6600's, Thank you

Sure I'm going to do a video on that shortly. But in brief I'm running 1/8 stepping at 3.5amps so that's 200steps for this machine.

For some reason my machine is not working correct ive squared it and fir some reason the Y axis shift and makes a terrible noise and the Machine pretty much stopped also on the x-axis it does the same thing trying to home the machine does not work.It keeps going out of square with the whole machine and start to shift I squared it I don't know what else to do I followed all the instructions and ill it does is make terrible noise the x-axis will. Not got side to side with out stopping in think ive tried just about everything to make it work when I. Move the y-axis one side is about 5 or 6mm off from the other side measuring from the backplate to the inside of the y axis plate please help
@IllDoItMyself3 жыл бұрын
There are many things that can cause this. Make sure your motors are both going the correct direction. Check for binding if you move it by hand. Make sure you have not over tensioned your leadscrews. This almost always is caused by binding or bad motor wiring

Installed my kit but after 5-10 minutes it loosens up causing the axis to run rough - any ideas? Don't want to over tension.
@IllDoItMyself4 жыл бұрын
I would suggest getting don't loctite on the set screw as that's what keeps the whole thing tensioned. Done print file it to a point but I have not needed to.

I have a 1010 Lead CNC kit from Bulkman. Just finished assembling it and I followed your build videos which made life easy, thank you. Would you recommend the tingle tension system for a 1010 or is it overkill? Great Videos man!

@IllDoItMyself4 жыл бұрын
Yeah sadly covid has made the shipping so expensive! I would say try the Bulkman3d site and see if there is a better shipping option for you.
@Jonny_O4 жыл бұрын
Check all the usual sites (eBay, AliExpress, etc.), as Bulkman prices seem to fluctuate depending on the site. The savings can be substantial.

Would this work on my linear xCarve upgrade from TBD CNC?
@IllDoItMyself4 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say. It looks like the bearings are press fit into the plates on that. If that's the case I would not recommend.
