I always love scrap strips. And being reminded about them. ❤

Of course we want a video for all the different goodies you make time to share! You were the creator that said once, something to the effect of, you made a point of making projects to use up the materials that accumulated because, if you didn't, they would take over your life/space (or something like that, forgive my memory 😆). It always stuck with me and is my current motivation for the projects I'm working on and have plans for. I've got a lot of accumulation that I'm working through, so any inspiration for using it up is welcome ❤ Love this take on scrappy strip making 😍

This is the paper equivalent of crumb quilting or confetti quilting with fabric scraps. Love it. At the moment, I am sewing a hexagon quilt made with random coloured 1" sided hexagons. This is with fabric scraps from things I have made and scraps donated by friends. Love it!

I enjoy watching snippet art tutorials. I haven't made snippet rolls but I have made some index card backgrounds and little tags using this technique. I like how you used bigger pieces with the little paper strip down the back to make it easier to tear off a section.

I always love your tutorials and watched you many years ago. I love how you use scraps and make your own supplies. Your strips are built the same way of snippet rolls and masterboards which are also very useful. I’d love to see more of how you use any collage fodder!

When you had ALL the made/scrap pages spread out on the desk, all I could think was: You could find a manufacturer and make all those pages into a paper pad. The papers are that fantastic! Before or after you did the stamping and scribbling on them, those colors and patterns are worthy of an entire paper pad.

So rather than a snippet ROLL it's a snippet STRIP. ❤
@jennibellie3 ай бұрын
hmm not sure why you would roll them, that would just make them curvy and a bit annoying when you want to apply them to something but it makes sense if doing this with fabric though x
@lynnhill91632 ай бұрын
Jennibellie, I love this idea! I’m viewing this video late, but now I want to run for my scraps and a glue stick! Do you think this could be adapted to use fabric scraps? I am a quilter, among many other interests, and I tend to collect all sorts of fabric bits and pieces. Cheers! from Lynn in Hallsville, Missouri USA
@jennibellie2 ай бұрын
Absolutely it could! Other people in the comments have said they've done just that and I'm thinking of mixing paper and fabric together in my next batch. Enjoy your creating x

Hi Jennibellie when you use your composition book do you glue two pages together or no? Thanks
@jennibellie3 ай бұрын
Sometimes, sometimes not, it depends - if I'm heavily collaging on it then I don't think there's a need. There's no rules I just go with the flow each time I go to it 💖
