Up the Beanstalk has to be the MVP card from the second Eldraine set. I figured it as a do nothing but in the time sense it goes in so many decks, gets play in so many formats, that its just crazy how good it is.

Great video as always :) just wanted to say Arabella also gains life, that makes it so great, you can deal damage and also buffer your life total for a swingback.You could have attacked earlier, it would have completely changed the game

Couple of things. I appreciate you breaking down Max's win in the first round, because I thought I missed something with that attack of his with archfiend or something. Also I think someone mentioned it but Arabella does do lifedrain with its ability not just raw damage, so it couldve won you game one still But lotsa fun games! game 3 was a whirlwind

Knight-Errant of Eos has actually been doing numbers for me in Modern. Turns out a 4/4 draw 2 spells/combo pieces tor 3 mana is pretty deece.

Just a heads up, im a convoke pilot and it tripped me up too, at 5:30 you put the cards on bottom. Knight errant actually says shuffle after you take your creatures, which is abnormal for the effect but ive almost gotten penalized for it before lol.

I haven't played standard since foundations released, but I've been loving it lately. Had the most luck with boros rabbit control but have been messing around with the control ramp. Would love to see a nice uwu contrl deck, though!

Standard is weird cause the fastest decks are the same as the fastest modern decks but the midrange decks and control decks are much slower

Yeah it's super interesting because the midrange decks can still slow the fast stuff down, I really enjoy it but it's much different than it was 10 years ago

@@neonmushroom6763 Oh for sure. and im pretty serious now, want to take a stab at RCQ season for the first time and need to build (play a lot of online magic). testing both of these decks and I think the safer option is golgari but I really love the play pattern and strength of the dimir mid/ tempo game. Its sweet. GerryT is big on this deck as well, and ever since I saw his build ive been playing this deck. the format and decks evolve a lot so it can get pricey, but its really exciting times. all the power coming in wl how huge standard is now (3 / 5 years) really is revolutionary for the format!

I'm very Happy with Standard content! I'd love to see you guys play a White/Black deck with Zoraline (most decks I find online are just mono black with Get Lost) I want to see an fair honest Orzhov midrange deck to inspire my brew with! Sadly I'm quite a bad deckbuilder so hope ya'll try something so I can steal it for my next standard event. Otherwise I'll sadly have to switch over to the Dimir deck. It's fire!
