The Top Decks of the Jeskai deck in game one and also the SV in game two were just brutal. And i am so glad they banned grief because of the fun aspect and not the one ring. it so cool to play against and also so cool to play with it (irony off)

Hey! I recently built dimir frogtide using a list from right before the Nadu ban. It's pretty sweet, but it was before Oculus came out. I noticed that the list doesn't use any bowmasters, but the one you used in your more recent video called "Dimir Oculus vs Domain Zoo [Paper Modern MtG Gameplay] 2024" does have them. is there any particular difference between the two, or is it just personal preference? sorry for the long comment, and thanks in advance :) PS. I love how you guys explain what you're doing/what you have in hand. It probably slightly changes how the opponent plays, but I really like hearing the thought process.

Off-topic question but I noticed quite a few youtubers talk about Fury getting unbanned, but is that just impossible now considering we have Fomo? If you arena of glory haste the fomo turn 2 you could swing for 18 damage turn 2

While that is something you could do it costs 6 of the seven cards in hand and gets beat by one piece of interaction so idk how good that is

@@neonmushroom6763 that's true but even still in a longer game, having a fury and then attacking with it with Fomo just seems extremely busted, especially if you also run phoenix package to give it flying and haste that's a 6/6 double striker attacking twice

How did frog feel conspired to the classic frogtide, I feel like the unearth version adds bad cards to your deck which just makes it worse and 8 treats seems like a lot but I have to imagine there is a sweet spot somewhere between 4 and 8 and that might just happen to be 4

So yeah, you do add some bad cards to the deck, I feel that you want Unearth if you're playing 4 Eyes, meaning I think like, 1 Murktide is the max

Ngl I feel like with oculus being more prevalent I think Strix Serenade becomes a decent sideboard card. Their graveyard will be gone and there is enough cheap removal to not really worry about the downside of the 2/2 bird. Also hitting the One Ring, or even a Kaito can be useful.
