Honestly, this was fun once but is kinda gimmicky. Id rather see you stick to real disc content. You're with Discraft, try to get some content with Missy or someone from DGA.

Some recommendations i can think of would be a beanie or hat, small or big traffic cone, a card, pizza box of course, one of those silicone pop-up bowls (i carry one for my dog and have thrown it over 100ft when its flat), maybe a different type of mini and maybe some kind of tool like a wrench or hammer.

I played disc golf for the first time 6 weeks ago at this spot. I come from a serious athletic background like you but a much older at 33. Only 6 weeks in I’m hooked! The first week I was able to throw my shryke 350ish ft and I was hooked. Seeing the s glide was all it took for me. I’ve been trying to get 36 holes in everyday at my local. Best of luck on your journey!

You are a phenomenal player, for sure. I commend you on your power and speed. But, it's easy to see where you can get yet more distance and power, as you're making the same error as a bunch of other top FPO players - so it's not rare. It is turning the rear foot so that your toes point at the ground, (while driving the rear knee in towards your other knee) that turns your torso. And it is torso rotation speed which dictates distance in disc golf. You are not properly committing to the plant foot, and lifting your rear foot clear of the ground, so that you can instantly turn your foot to point at the ground. Many FPO players fail to get completely off the rear foot, and this radically reduces distance. Once traction is achieved on the plant foot, your rear foot has to get clear of the ground, by at least the height it takes to turn the toes towards the ground, and once that move's been made, you're gonna kick that rear foot hard backwards, just as your elbow is opening - this maintains full balance on the plant foot, and equalises effort on both sides of the body.
@Loyalhusband
@Loyalhusband 3 ай бұрын
You seem to understand the biomechanics of this well. I get what you are saying. Essentially the full follow through/pivot with the plant foot the so the rear foot naturally rotates over as well. Kind of like baseball pitchers follow through after a pitch. Ok now my question is I see some people plant naturally on their foot/ balls of their foot and I see some people rotate while front foot heel is planted. What would you say is optimal for balance and power

what is with the OB lines in distance competitions? Just make it like a base ball field with foul ball lines.
