Max weight for drivers is, 175 Max weight for mids is, 180 Max for putters is, 175 One gram of difference is meaningful since wind, elevation and humidity will effect the flight. The more details the more sales. I have all my discs in minimum weight, 150 grms, since Japan only allows 150 or less, less than 150 is too difficult for me to control with any consistency in windy weather. I often practice with minimum weight because it stops me from rounding. I mostly throw max weight because max weight is more controllable and works best in windy conditions. I have several bags of backups. My favorite drivers are 165-167 grms. Under stable discs fly better at high elevations. I live at 7,880 ft above sea level. Lately I’m really liking my 166 Elite Z Crank and my 165 pro Tern!

Hey! My girlfriend is the one who reached out to you about that Titanium Nuke a week or so ago! Thank you! I have bagged that Tim Barham Buzzz SS in that Z metallic plastic for years! Love that disc! Try to look into more molds that utilize the Z Metallic Plastic, it is amazing. I think you would really enjoy throwing the Brian Earhart Zone, Buzzz OS, Tim Barham Buzzz SS (obviously), Roach, Andrew Presnell Force, and Ezera Aderhold Nuke all in the Z Metallic plastic. That plastic is amazing and you get the best skips with it! Everyone I play with compliments me on my ability to skip discs. Its not me. Its the plastic!

That’s really exciting! I love last minute tourneys where I can’t prep cuz it feels like I’m just playing for fun, hopefully you can have a similar mentality. Don’t sleep on the zone OS. I used to think it was stupid, then I threw it in a 20 mph headwind on a flex line and it still faded hard. It’s good to have an approach disc that you can hammer on in the wind or over OB and know it’s a big stupid disc that dumps. It’s a literal cheat code.

I’m surprised there’s no traditional Buzzz in the bag, but I like the unique additions instead! It’s cool to see more people bag the wasp. Definitely an underrated mold.

Buzzz SS is the people’s buzzz and the hand feel is very different than a buzzz. I love the buzzz, but to me it’s a totally different feel than my other stable mids.

i feel a disc you can hyzer flip with no skip ideally a mid that can be a laser beam and goes about 350-375ft is a game changer disc and if you can find that same disc but one that can handle 10mph headwind you are going to score lower 100%

i used to have a WASP before i went all INNOVA and it was a really nice flip up to flat maybe like 275ft but it couldnt handle headwind which is most mids i guess

The Paul McBeth mold names all fall into Greek mythology and in the case of Anax it basically translates to king. But I agree that Onyx feels right.
