Do have advice on boundary setting when parents are overbearing with their opinions on me and my husband’s finances?

I used to work in public schools. They had a child psychologist lead a conflict resolution training. She told us we should try being more transparent with how students behavior is affecting others. It should be normalized that everyone, including adults, clearly state their feelings/boundaries and how they were violated. It's good to TEACH kids how their behavior effects relationship dynamics. Some kids have a sense about them others need it taught to them
