Yessss!! My child is 14 and I still have these days. Like you said, we're human and all the responsibility of caring for others can just be too much. This was such an affirming conversation.

This spoke to me soooo much. As a single mom who grew up with parents that did not communicate I did not want that for my daughter. I do what I can to co parent peacefully. I feel these momfessions❤❤

I remember saying those exact words to my mom "I don't feel like being a mom today" and she said never say that again. Our words create our reality. What if your child died after you spoke those words? What if you died after speaking those words? I never said it again! Parenting is HARD, no doubt! But, we need to choose our words wisely.

Whew child. Yeah being a single mother is hard. I never wanted to be a single mother, that is why I married both of my children's father's. It didn't work out, but it is what it is. You can't give up on yourself, much less your kids. Well my remaining ones are adults, but one lives in another state, and the one with SN still lives with me, so it is a never ending for me.

Repetition... don't allow it. I told my children I was NOT a tape recorder (which the children now would not know what it is) and that I was not going to repeat myself. Sooooo, since they loved their devices, I started making videos of the tasks they "seemed" not to retain or recall how to do... washing dishes, washing clothes, etc... "how to" videos of sorts... maybe for your young children you can have THEM make videos of them doing things you want them to do and they can play them daily and watch themselves do the task you want them to do... brushing their teeth, cleaning their rooms and play rooms, taking out the trash.

As an Auntie of 12, I have my on guilt on not wanting to do ALL the things ALL the time for my nieces & nephews. Thank you to Codie who said, the “fullness of acceptance is still in progress.” That’s a reminder that it’s okay to say, no not today or not right now. Thank you, thank you, now a sister can breathe a sigh of relief. 😮‍💨

I can't relate. I'm not sure but I think all of the Moms are married or co parent well key word WELL, with their children's fathers. I'm a mom of 3 who is a single single mother. I also had my kids 7 years apart so I didn't have to deal with the two under two or three under three thing . I honestly think that helped me maintain my patience. Although people always say how I have so much patience in alot of different situations they don't know how I stay so calm. But still I get tired now, but my kids are 30, 23, and 15 so its time i guess plus I work with other people's kids who are under 3( so maybe im tired of working and not my own kids) my kids are amazing also and thats a huge part of it...But I also believe that because life happened and there wasn't a "dad" for me to fall back on, or call and cry to, I couldn't get tired. I think God blessed me with a something extra that prevents my tired because I couldn't say to a husband, I couldn't say imma tell your dad. I had to deal with whatever. Thank you God for my patience. I'm not judging anyone because you should be honest about your feelings and you do get to be tired. I said, YOU DO GET TO BE TIRED and don't feel bad about it. Youre human too so throw your own Mom tantrums and then we regroup and figure that thang out. Okay? It's okay. And yeah when you look back you'll definitely be like dang, how did I do that? I did that...Wow! Sending hugs and an its OK to all the tired Moms out there. Take a breather. And you will figure it out. 😊❤
