I have seen a skinwalker. He looked like a Navajo elder. Navajo have, to me, at least very distinctive features. He literally turned into a coyote right in front of me. I'm not mentally ill, wasn't drinking or doing drugs, but I saw what I saw. After that, I don't discount anything.

Cliff, Bobo, Matt, greetings to all of you. New to this topic, but one of the more interesting aspects...to me that is are the vocalizations. Something in the woods and Forrests of our country are making very strange noises. On KZbin I've heard a four volume set called Sasquatch Vocalizations vols. 1 - 4. Also the Clipper Mills, CA., vocalizations and the Saint Louis County MN. vocalizations are some of the most interesting. On one episode of BFAB Cliff mentioned a type of vocalization best described as "Big Dude in the woods sreaming"... those are amazing and I heard them on the Saquatch Vocalizations vols. 1 - 4. Anyway, I'm fascinated by whatever could be making these sounds. I often wonder what the pioneers thought of this and how they delt with it.

I was informed about it gentleman talking about a night hike on a podcast. I found the podcast and listened to it. The gentleman made claims of the experiences they had. I was on that same night hike, and I didn't know about some of the claims he made. And the gentleman was a retired police officer....?

I've interviewed many members of different Native American tribes, and none of the stories they've shared say Bigfoot is a forest buddy. I'm Yupik Alaska Native, and our stories say the Hairy Man is our enemy. He isn't a good thing. Hairy Man is an animal. Like bears, wolves, cougars, and other predators, they can be dangerous even without provocation. Our stories say they will unalive and eat elders, women, children, and those who are disabled.

I didn't remember this one so it was great to hear it. Scary testimony but I do note that once again we hear that they express their annoyance with us (very forcefully) but refrain from killing us. Fascinating report thank you guys.

Good for you, Thom, for being steadily willing to examine and disseminate interesting and insightful subjects of study. I’ll look forward to getting a copy of this book. And regarding livestock mutilations, I have read a similar idea in some of the work of the late anthropologist Michael Bradley. Wow…I had no idea that the late Phil Schneider was in touch with the Bigfooting community! The Dulce case always fascinated me. And the guy who Thom is mentioning regarding the Giza power plant idea is engineer Christopher Dunn. And in addition to the pyramids not being tombs, there was a whole industry/black market of people investing mummified remains for their purported medicinal qualities. And Thom’s discussion of crop circles/glyphs is spot on. Yes, there are hoaxed glyphs, but the genuine “circles” bear characteristics that are in no way reproducible by two guys with some rope and wooden boards.

My grandma saw the Lake Worth monster in july of 1971. She said it was white-haired and looked like a large "caveman." She never said it looked like a goat-man. She got a really good look at it. She said she was 100% sure what it was & wasn't. She said it wasn't a bear or somebody in a suit.

Those individuals who have commented negatively on Roehl’s narratives may have missed the point that his sharing of accounts is culturally different from what one might expect in a Western/European-American context-a history that is driven by written rather than oral narrative. Further, there is a strong taboo within some Indigenous communities such as Fred’s against speaking about Sasquatch. It is absolutely understandable that s people would not want to be interviewed or recorded, which is one of the main reasons that Fred always does what he can to protect people’s identities. Fred’s detailed accounts of other people’s encounters, as well as his own, honor those who have come forward and shared their experiences with him. It is like someone giving you a recipe, and then in order to properly prepare that recipe, you make sure that you are as close to the original thing as possible. Moreover, when it comes to the maintenance of information that is important to survival of one’s community (e.g., passing on accurate details about where, when, what, etc occurred with a potentially threatening encounter), it would behoove memory keepers to retain reliable information about said encounter. This is the purpose that myth has held for thousands of years prior to the advent of modern science: maintain information about events that are important to our survival. Fred’s efforts are in line with that: collect and disseminate information that may be helpful to potentially keep people away from threatening or dangerous encounters with Sasquatch. I commend him for his efforts, particularly when he receives the kind of criticism such as what is stated in some of the comments here.
