Dap up The Imperial Majesty, King Takovski!!? Yes, so this video has passed over a year and the production looks like it just came out today. Stunning Bruh!! Your explanation and review of this Kamlan sold me. *Question for the King* After putting this lens line through rigorous real-life situations onset and testing in different weather conditions. Would you consider this Kamlan lens line leaning in the direction of a hybrid cine lens or just another new stills lens? I decided to order a double from this line. The 21mm and 50mm MARK2 from AliEpress a couple weeks ago. The price was extremely unforgivable. However, I noticed the phenomenal image quality. It's like a fusion where vintage meets modern blended in one styled lens. The 21 & 50 both have the weight and cold solid metal build of what vintage lenses feel like but the lens is bigger than a typical vintage stills lens The image quality appears to be sharper than vintage. It has some characteristics of the vintage, like flares, and that old-school look, but then it has a de-clicked aperture as that of a cine prime. Not to mention the super dope creamed out bokeh creamier than vintage but is able to appear as a cine prime bokeh. Please help. Am I tweakin' or is this what it really is? New sub

What's footage! I wonder how you focus this lens, is it all manual focus? Thanks!

great shots! did you use a stabiliser ? cause they look so steady
@boristakovski4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. I had the camera in a cage, with a handle on top and a monitor with a big battery on top of that, so having all that extra weight helped me reduce some jitters and shakes. I also used warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro at a low value ranging from 2-5% to smooth out the footage even more.

Great footage man. So on the Gh3 would this lens practically be a 56 mm focal length lens? Due to the crop factor?
@boristakovski4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. Yes, the 2x crop factor on the GH3 makes the Kamlan 28mm a 56mm equivalent focal lenght in full frame terms.

Is this better than the Kamlan 50mm f1.1 lens?
@boristakovski4 жыл бұрын
I've never used the Kamlan 50mm lens so I couldn't tell you. From the reviews I've seen, version 2 of that lens seems to be pretty good optically and it shares the same great build quality as the 28mm. Whether it's better or not, depends on which focal length you prefer.
