I once stayed in this hotel with my family back in the early 2000s and that was probably my first time riding a GoldStar. Sadly it broke on the day we were leaving the hotel. Glad it hasn't changed much apart from those horrid generic touchless buttons. About your statement that GoldStar is merely a cheaper version of Hitachi, I think the same thing can be said for Dong Yang which is basically a cheaper Toshiba and both brand shared the same components and characteristics due to their direct technical partnership.

I like to think that this lift carries on the wibawa of the Chedi Era. Very fancy indeed. Id like to point out that by the 1990s, goldstar was not the cheapest mechanically related hitachi lift out there. That title would have to go to the earliest Guangri and Yungtay models. Goldstar is mechanically related to Hitachi but they still have its own traits and styling imo.

@@sumbu_y_ But the Mitsubishi licensed GoldStar/LG products still carry some traits from Mitsubishi due to a technical partnership with the latter, where production took place at the Juan factory. Sadly we never get to see them in Indonesia as Mitsubishi licensed GoldStar/LG products were produced only for the Korean market.

These lifts were installed in 2009 and the lift model is Elenessa MRL

Glad is still original. There's a hydraulic service lift behind this lift that goes between the main ballroom's backstage/galley area and the back area for the smaller conference rooms.

Yeah, umm... While these elevators are definitely very nice in terms of quality, their size is too small for a massive world-class airport terminal. Each of them being 1600kg would've been way better. Clearly they could afford to install bigger ones - the parking garage units are twice the size. About the whole "promoting walking" thing... Er, I'm not sure whether thats really true or if they're trying to "hide" something. Just look at the escalators & travelators - cheap "mountain" brand... Hm....

It's funny how they could afford for some Schindler escalators and then choosing a rubbish quality elevator that's definitely doesn't look very appealing and inviting for a luxury resort. They could've installed a Mitsubishi NEXIEZ-S or at least a Schindler 3300!

The reason why they mod this lift what i know is I found another lift which is gate elevator they basically dumbwaiter elevator but act like service elevator That brand is pillar and that lift probably earlier than sm And they think "what purpose i bought sm meanwhile the other is pillar? Isn't sm and pillar chinese generic? Better i mod this sm into pillar so when they broken i call pillar only" Pls, note this word "what i know" so. Maybe i can wrong

Unfortunate modernization, a mod was probably needed due to age but it definitely could've been better. Btw does the voice for door closing say "The door is closing" or "The door will close"? For some reason I think I heard the latter.

Confirmed these were originally Hitachi. The door sills matched with the ones I filmed in Kagoshima, Japan.

Looks like a very early Schindler 3000 as it has that 3300 style thick car wall frame on the sides, similar to Sarinah Car Park's 3000s.

Kyakny lubang di garskin x kurang besar sih (yg bagian indikator). Di Surabaya juga ada FIGS 120 yang juga ditempeli tapi kalau yang ini malah angkanya yang ditempeli stiker seolah-olah itu "antigores" yang anehnya malah pake potongan majalah/koran, lokasinya di sebuah kedai kopi di MERR.

Or it could be LUXEN since its maximum speed is also 3 m/sec, but I don't know. KVR's Hyundais are FI-T&S (Time & Space) I believe, as iXEL was released in 2012 according to the Hyundai Elevator article on that Korean languaged Namu Wiki. Plus, the whole Kemang Village project kicked started in around 2009 iirc.

Its possible that these are LUXENs as Hyundai increased the top speed on the newer versions of the LUXENs but yeah, im not very sure about that. And in regards to KVR's Hyundais, perhaps some of the older towers has the T&S model while the newer towers uses iXELs. I am pretty sure that Empire and Cosmo uses T&S as those towers are among the first towers to be completed. I'm not sure about the lifts in Tiffany and Ritz tho. Its clear that Bloomington, Ritz and Intercon are among the last towers to be completed as they were completed at a time Lippo shifted away from Hyundai and was "experimenting" with other lift brands (in this case, KONE).

The lengthy voice announcement sounds too much and would often doesn't sync with the door movement. Hyundai should consider simplifying the English announcement by removing some unnecessary words IMO.
