There is no song that emphasizes tragedy, shock, and grief as well as this one does. It builds up a sight of horror and shock. Like the initail instance of tragedy, and then you are left with absolutely nothing for a few seconds. The instance of true shock. The world goes silent. Then, it slowly comes into picture what is true, what actually happened. Then the music slowly builds back up as grief sets in. That is what tragedy is. That is why this song is perfect. I am sure I didn't need to say any of this to anyone. Anyone with sense could see this all clear as day, but perhaps they couldn't put it into words. I hope that I did just that.

One thing i love about this track is that you can hear yhe difference between the city, its people, and the storm. The stings represent their desperation, the thundering represents both the generator bottling the storm, and the wind and ice sounds represent the environment itself

5:50 to me this dissonance in the chord progression symbolizes what's going on with the character of Meteion. This one tiny note means that no matter how strong we might be, we will all fall at one point in our lives. But the song picks up again and never lets this dissonance stepping over.
