The external 900Mhz module on the TX looks like a right dogs breakfast. On Jeti and FR Sky it's internal and much moire practical. As a Futaba supporter I find this disappointing to say the least.

Why is it not possible to adjust the volume of telemetry tones using a rotary control? I have to go into the setup every time and adjust it there. That is not user-friendly. Futaba 18SZ

Futaba makes great radios, I’ve been flying them since the early 90’s, but their instructional manuals are hard for me to follow. Great work!

Thanks for the video but the title is wrong/confusing. Futaba do distinguish between throttle and motor. Your video was the only one which helped me understand the importance of reassigning ‘throttle’ to ‘motor’ in the function menu, then using a switch assigned to kill the motor. I’d say many folks are wrongly using ‘throttle cut’ for electric planes but when the stick for the motor is above about 15%, their assigned switch DOES NOT stop it if ‘throttle’ has been assigned by default. This is very very unsafe

What about the screen resolution compared to the 18SZ? Is the screen smaller with a better resolution (characters more defined)? I would think that after 8 years the screen would be improved!

i have 18sz 70 anniversary, 16sz and 16 iz super all of them with Fasst protocol, new 26 does not work Fasst protocol, for that reason will not buy it, bad idea from Futaba to remove Fasst protocol in a new transmitter that cost almost 1000$, very bad idea

Futaba is made of cheap looking and feeling plastic. Even years ago JR high end sets were metal framed. Futaba is no better than radio master now

nothing works with telemetry on my T18mz....i think my tx must be faulty. i have had nothing but faults with my t18mz...two batteries failing and telemetry never worked....i am now changing over to radiomaster.
