By the way, the food at Topock 66, is much better than Pirate cove. I go to Havasu often. Been going there for over 30 years. I enjoy watching you guys discover it. It’s a great place and never gets old.

This is actually the Parker valley/ reservation not too far up river from Blythe. The other side of the Palo Verde Dam would be considered more Blythe. But it all very beautiful and the water is nice! 👍🏽

I’m new to RVing but I enjoyed your new rig. I think that the white interior makes a huge difference. I’m not a favor of white but in this case I think it’s an excellent idea. I like your additional trailer as well that carries your choice and that’s what it’s all about having fun in our golden years not that that you’re old. I’ve subscribed to you and I’ve enjoyed your channel and on top of that I’ve learned from you, which is really what this is all about isn’t it?

I have been over the past two months pushing to a old 85 Scarab I hope unless something blows up in my face I am getting close to getting the engine finished I dont have a life or freinds in this town of Elko people here just want to be left alone. I parked the poor thing in the weeds been sitting since 2014 this year is the year I am pushing to get a life and get the boat out on the water I am in my late 60s its time ! Your video actully help me give me the push to get back out there and get er done I an ot yet there yet I am a pushing I still have to pump out the old stinky fuel pressure wash the inside for the engine and pull the boat off and paint the trailer, When I rebuilt the motor I ordered a special hot cam from comp cams the boat has thru hull exhaust I want that nasty chop at the boat dock

You are lucky that does not have an enclosed dog house and you can use a Automotive alternator most have a life time warranty

I was just there last weekend with my wife, we launched from Laughlin, cruised to havasu and came back the next day. She said her favorite part was the Topock gorge. Pirates cove is like .1 miles from where you guys were, like 2 minutes not 7 lol. Also the restaurant you mentioned has a gas dock also and is cheaper than pirates cove. Thanks for the content I feel like I got to relive my weekend.

You guys were literally two minutes from the opening to Pirates Cove. It’s on your left as you head up river.

Always carry a jump pack in a boat, ya never know. More than likely a bad alternator.

Pirates is literally 1 minute from the bridge at 50 mph. You literally where rite there.😂

I am a master craftsman in the boat upholstery canvas world. NEVER depend on bimini top straps when running your boat above idle. You must have aluminum or stainless front supports with through bolted deck fittings. NOT HOOKS and DECK LOOPS. If they fail someone is going to get hurt badly when the top frame slams down on someones head.

Headed to Glamis for the first time this upcoming Veterans Day weekend 2024. Any advice for the riding out there? Have a 2022 Can Am X3 XRS MAX with Smart-Shox. I do have a set of paddles as well. Camping with a few friends that have been going for years.

Looks like fun. Yeah so the area with the green grass that you called lost lake is actually water wheel. Then goes hidden valley, then lost lake at the very top. Hidden valley is one of the nicer end parks, lost lake is pretty run down. Gotta make it all the way up to the bridge past lost lake.
