You just made my day, That boat belonged to one of my best friends who recently past. My first trip with that boat was to Mcintyre park in Blythe back in 1987. Its good too see her in the water again. My friend would be happy to see someone enjoying the same way he did. BTW back in the 80's that boat had dry stacks on it, very dangerous. I could tell you many stories about that boat. Hope you get to enjoy it for years to come as I did 30 plus year ago.

Bimini tops may look neet and very summery , but catch the wind , and your boat can actually want to be an airplane . L O L . If you would like better speed and improved aerodynamics , get a nice coloured contoured plexiglass windshield . It will make your boat much more streamlined . Enjoy ! bye bye .

Grew up going to Blythe from the mid 70's to the late 90's. My first boat was a 1972 Sleekcraft with a 115 Mercury Outboard. Used to take it to the Mayflower Park pretty much down the street from the house yall are at. Miss the river every summer, I can still smell the alpha fields when getting close to the river.

Hey brother dylan schubert here veteran marine mechanic and old jet boat junkie. Great boat and you got a steal in todays market, cant go wrong with a 385 series just built my 460 in my southwind. Quick suggestions for you, ditch that vac. Advance distributor(check TOTAL timing should be all in around 3k rpm), pop a "2 spacer under that holley, or dual carb tunnel ram if you dont mind burning some extra money on fuel. Let me know if you have any questions or ever need some help.

Early 70’s every boat builder was splashing each others hulls. It also looks like a Tahiti/Schuster/Weiman. Everyone in the boating industry was ripping each other off back then. Looks like a clean jet boat that will bring smiles for miles. Was the river park Shaggy Tree Ln? Either way it’s a great area of the lower river. Appreciate you sharing.

So many of them looked the same. The Rebel just had every exact line. Regardless, we love the boat. I don’t know if there is a name to the park where they’re located but it’s not far from Blythe. We’re going from Havasu back to the river house next month as our big vaca this year. Thanks for the comment brother!

I’d agree with you in most cases, just not in mine. Everything I buy is thoroughly gone through and over maintained. Most people looking for the cheapest thing they can find, just go out and hope it runs. We’ll both find out though as the Boat lives, it’s life on the channel 😂

Typical V-drive fanboy bullshit. He made a GREAT purchase. Sleekcraft rebel is a great hull, and it’s a 460 with a Berk behind it. Literally couldn’t be better. Most rebels came with Oldsmobiles and Jacuzzi jets which is a junk combo.
