I don’t go anymore. Everything that I enjoyed is slowly disappearing. It started with BLT Steak at Ballys. Nothing for me out there anymore.

What are they doing with the slot machines? Does Hard Rock get them? Also what is going to happen to all of the animals there?

It’s definitely sad and an icon is gone. However, Hard Rock is a good company and the plans for it so far look amazing. I can wait to see the finished product.

I used to like Las Vegas and it really wasn't that long ago. You could find bargains, and it wasn't hard. Now all those greedy corporate hatemongers that took over want to gouge visitors on everything. There are $100 buffets at Caesars. What? I don't look forward to the Mirage reopening as the Hard Rock, because it will be more of that, only worse.

Dont tell anyone but MGM will bring back the Mirage and it will be located and called, "Mirage @ Mandaley Bay"!

Biggest mistake ever made in my opinion in las Vegas , was destroying the original Sands .. should have made it into a museum or something like that .

Sad, I'm so sorry that The Mirage is closing. So many great memories from the first time staying there in 1989.

Vegas has become a corporate disaster to me, its not even the same as it was in the 80s 90's, its popular now but wait people its going to take a real dive soon as the prices are just outrageous, $25 bucks for a cocktail at some places? No thanks!

I didn’t even know it was closing. I stayed there several times and it was always a good time. We loved that deli near the entrance.

In 1989 Steve Wynn built this masterpiece of tropical wonder to the delight of the world. There was nothing else like it and the world came to see it, stay in it and gamble in it.... It took everyone's breath away with it's beauty, and magnificence.... Back then, when you walked into the Mirage, you knew you were on vacation...The world came and Wynn was able to pay of the loan in 2 years. So long Mirage...

I have so many amazing memories with my parents at All American Grill. I stopped by the Rio last month 1st time in over 20 yrs. Smelled awful 😖 the restaurant looks great. Rio needs to replace all the mattresses stat! Have a great evening Scott. You rock

I've always wondered where the rubble from the casinos goes to? Stations tore down 2 last year and now the Trop. You mentioned recycling but I'm not sure how that works and then there's the stuff left that has no value and must be taken to a landfill area or somewhere.
