We get quite a few like this in the UK not the same but seminar main absence being is to try and get your bank details or try and get information off you as someone said a few years ago never trust an Indian on the phone and soon as that happens with me I’m like you. It is not necessarily a scam if someone calls you and offers you a huge amount of promos in order to get a gift voucher, or money off voucher. for a set amount of fee, and setting you up with numerous "trials" to do so. It is called a horrible contract, but it is generally not considered a scam, or con. However when they do not give you these trials, or programs - and just steal your details it is a scam. If these people say there is no contract, and pretty much just say give me your details you will get a voucher - it is 100% a scam. You should never, ever deal with these people if a scam, or not. It is extremely difficult to cancel these trials in all cases, and on first month you will spend more money than the voucher is worth in most cases.

Oh God please don't correct them, it just makes it that much harder for a victim to identify

No info regarding website yet knows the voucher system off-pat. Script does not even make an allowance for a fake website. I remember when this scam hit SA.. You got 70% off a restaurant that really was not even near you, and really obsequious services, but total value was over xxxxxx.
