I also have aniridia. Your eyes and nystagmus are very similar to mine. Thank you for this video. Its nice to hear soneone else understands the struggle.

The eye level part for a person in a wheelchair does not always work because I can talk to anyone when they are standing up such as my family members and my friends

Very impressive Sinead! Our son is 2 now and was born with Aniridia and microphthalmia. We got then very concerned but Thank God he is doing well and despite having to adapt to new situations he's always running around the house playfully like every toddler. I'm happy to see you choose to not be a victim of your condition but live your life the fullest, that's what we want to teach our Kiddo too.

The toe box does loosen a bit as you wear them in.

@@sinead4344 I do, on both counts. I have occasional issues with running shoes because of a broken big toe that didn't quite set straight but these were fine once I'd ran around 50 miles in them.

@@miski1969 Hey! Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear that you broke your big toe. Ouch. Sounds painful. I have been using my Saucony Speed now for a few weeks and have got use to them and I really like them now. I am now thinking of buying the Saucony Pro.

I believe your son can do higher study. Everybody is different. It all depends on what career your son decides to pursue. It also relates to whether your son wants to go to college when he grows up. Not everyone wants to go to college. However, if he does decide to go to college then there are a lot of supports that can be put in place to help him,. The road ahead will be tough. I have encountered a lot of obstacles along the way but i have got through them. I believe with the right help your son too can get through obstacles.
