How's that any different than a regular click? Because it's warded?

As a drummer, I'd probably have drums & bass higher in my mix and click track lower than guitar but higher than piano

I remember playing for a few hundred one night and then only the bar staff 2 nights later. Ah well, we played and enjoyed it which was the reason we played in the first place.

My favorite gig was playing my horn (late night, after homework) in the backyard for my neighbor who would come sit on their porch on the other side of the wall and listen ❤

Whats it matter? If yourdoing what you love you dont need anyone. Be happy your playing music, and dont act like your doing anyone any favors, your very fortunate cause really, cause without better people before you, you wouldnt be covering rooster today.

Saw one of my fave bands in a blizzard once. Six people made it to the venue and my fave band just managed to make it. But none of the other bands could get thru the snow. Was a fantastic show. Absolutely 100% full energy like there were 1500 in the crowd.

“Im devastated”. Are you? Cause it has no effect on you if you’re just listening to a band play. The earpiece is not in your ear. You dont hear what they do. Dont let it devastate you. It’s devastating that you’re letting someone elses method devastate you when it has no barring on your life in the first place

People who complain about click tracks have no clue what performing on a stage is like or have never touched an instrument.

As a veteran guitarist playing in over 20 local classic rock cover bands over the last 3 decades, I’ve had a few miscues. One time, I looked down at the list and the next song was Sweet Home Alabama. I started playing Gimmie Three Steps. 🫢 The band kicked in and we played Gimmie Three Steps. The audience was none the wiser and I got a ribbing from the band at the next break. 😂

The real question is when this track is gonna drop with the click voice on it. Sheesh it’s better than the other song that was happening
@sampahr16 сағат бұрын
clicks and cues help make sure that anything that can go wrong doesn't affect the music as much as it could/at all. yeah, you might say you love "authenticity" and would think it's "awesome" if your fave band made a mistake or where messed up because of something going wrong, but 1) you aren't everyone in the audience, sorry your preferences probably aren't the same as the majority and 2) you aren't the one playing and have no idea how just having the security of the click/cues can help you keep your mind on other things - like being in the moment 3) shush, nobody cares.

Yeah, the counting would be a bit much for me, but the click track is super helpful. Been used in studios even longer than on stage, I’ll bet
@sampahr16 сағат бұрын
I would love for the people shitting on clicks to sit down and listen to a bunch of live recordings and successfully point out which are using clicks and which aren't. Almost wish I had egos as big as y'alls, but tbh being an absolute fool wouldn't be worth the false confidence.
