@@mollyrosedrums - I miss that guy. He was sure proud of you and your improvements in your level of play. First link he sent me about you was the one at the pep rally, I think - it was you solo in the middle of the gym floor and you were killing it. I could tell you were feeling what you were playing. During the years I worked with him at KFBB, he was never much into music - even though he had been a radio disc jockey prior to being the Weather Guy on our station. You sure got his attention though...

You’re lucky to have good band members and probably a sound man. A sound man really brings out the best in a band. I play drums and on two separate occasions, I was unlucky with a narcissistic guitar player. He ran the sound and we couldn’t get a crowd until we got a sound man. He these two guitar players would adjust their guitar sound so high, people couldn’t get into it. Couldn’t dance! I seen the crowd back up, plug their ears and leave. Could barely hear the singer, couldn’t hear the bass or the drums. As soon as the sound man came , the crowds came. Why the guitarists didn’t get it? I don’t know 😅💥☄️
