Seems a lot of top end rattle may need cam chain tensioner doing mate l have same bike and mine is of same mileage and condition and its whisper quiet at top end nice video and bike 👍👍

It's just had a new tensioner, it doesn't sound as rattly in person, but I suppose it's worth an inspection. Don't want that falling! 👍

I cant manage to get the fairings on. The big low ones. The little screw that holds them together is killing me! Any tips?

I have the same colour but need the rear piece centre fairing and the right hand side rear trying to find it pain in the ars , 98

Parts are getting hard to find now, but they do appear, keep an eye on ebay, fingers crossed something will come up for you

How has the bike been? I'm looking to buy a '99 and could do with some honest feedback, good or bad. Cheers.

They changed then in 99 to the f4 model, so it's different to this one, but it's considered a better bike than this one as it has the aluminium frame. Definitely a decent bike, depends what you want it for, they're not the fastest bike but they're up there with the most dependable, I love my CBR I wouldn't ever want to have to sell it.

@@Eight20 I'm not sure if it's an F4, it has the same headlamp as yours. Think they changed it at F4 although I might be wrong. Cheers.

The frame is the obvious change, but either way, they're great bikes and I'd recommend them to anyone.
