If Daemon had been there for his brother, when he lost his wife, and son. He may have remained the heir apparent. Rather than Viserys naming Raenyra as heir. Eventually Aegon would have been named in his place, but it would have at least taken away the doubts about who the heir would be.

Thanks, Bale. 🌑 Great to see the first canonical depiction of 'Plagueis'. And how wild to see a kyber crystal actually being bled?! 🔸 I think 'Sol' getting involved was as simple as him thinking the kids were in danger. He first saw 'Osha' screaming at 'Mae' not to hurt the flying creature... then he saw 'Koril' yelling at the kids... then he saw the training in which 'Koril' pushed 'Osha' down and encouraged 'Mae' to attack her... then the witches lied about children being in the coven. It just keeps going on and on... misunderstanding after misunderstanding. If it were one or two things, 'Sol' might not have been so alarmed, but the alarming things just kept happening. And then 'Osha' expressed interest in the Jedi, which endeared her to him. It's sad but logical.

Cole is depicted as overly ambitious and selfish in the show, however it doesn’t take away from the fact that he is incredibly loyal to the Greens and is shown to actually care about Aegon II and has a somewhat close relationship to Aemond. Celibacy seems to be the vow that is most commonly broken among all the orders of Westeros, whether it’s the NW, Faith or the KG: And being a Dornishman definitely doesn’t help with keeping it in his pants. Cole definitely plays the game and to his credit gets away with literal murder. Meryn Trant sweeps the KG as the absolute worst of the worst. Cole is definitely bad but ultimately holds himself to a high standard of prolonging his Kings life.

Thanks, Bale! 🌑 The "we must be sacrificed" misquote little 'Mae' relayed to 'Indara' and 'Sol' had a huge impact. They literally thought the girls were in mortal danger. 'Aniseya' actually said, "It is about sacrificing a *part* of ourselves". 🔸 It's also wild to learn that 'Sol' was imposing his own wants (to have a Padawan... even though he might not be ready) onto the situation. He even almost lost his temper on 'Indara' at the end. That shows a very un-Jedi-like conflict that adds to his motivations.

Can’t express enough how much i loved the small details to show how Rhaenys is a seasoned dragon rider. Chaining into her riding harness before flying upside down. Locking talons with Vhagar to make Vhagars giant claws redundant. Rolling into that 69 position to block Vhagar’s flames with Meleys underside and tail. Using Meleys speed to spin in circles until she gained ultimate velocity so that she can body slam Vhagar into the ground. Substituting Meleys speed for a lack of strength. Just a shame she didn’t get Meleys to chew Aemond in his saddle, she shouldn’t have assumed the crash landing would kill Vhagar.

rhaeneys attacked in the hopes of injuring vagar in hopes another black dragon can finish her off. (Meleys is one of the oldest and strongest dragons) or kill her or maybe kill aemond so vhagar would be riderless and out of the picture, she is more experienced at the end of the day Meleys was too injured to have made it very far & Rhaenys would have never abandoned Meleys even for the sake of her own safety. That last look they gave before turning back to fight Vhaegar again was a mutual acknowledgement they were going down together. Makes that whole moment that much more heartbreaking. Also abandoning their Ally wouldn't leave a good message about rhaneyras claim

Daeron son of Cole, never. Born in 114 AD, Daeron was the youngest son of King Viserys I Targaryen and his second wife, Queen Alicent Hightower. He had two older brothers, Aegon and Aemond, and a younger sister, Helaena, as well as an older half-sister, Rhaenyra. Daeron was born shortly after Rhaenyra's eldest son, Prince Jacaerys Velaryon.

Some ppl think "white cloak" Cole did a 180 turn sleeping with Alicent. But they don't realize him being hypocritical out of seething hatred towards Rhaenyra is the whole point of his arc. Ever since his suicide attempt his every move is driven by spite towards Rhaenyra whom he felt had agrieved him. This is the "every woman is the image of the mother" hypocritical Cole. Him sleeping with Alicent is a continuation of that one-track mind. He thinks they're united in shared hatred of Rhaenyra, while Alicent is vicariously living out her love for Rhaenyra via Cole. The book never gives a real explanation as to why Criston hated Rhaenyra so much. There was an implication of misogyny as Cole said "her & daemon would turn KL into a brothel". The show expanded on that theme. it's easy to write a generic edgy chad antihero/villain. This universe has so many of them. The show could've taken the easy way out by portraying Cole as another personality-less badass. Writing a pure repulsive dickhead just by the virtue of pure dickheadery is much harder. Tying it into the theme of medieval patriarchy & the complex dynamic of the two female protagonists is even more hard. They managed to pull that off & turned him into the most unlikable character in Thrones verse in the eyes of the general public. Sure, in another world I would've loved to see the badass Cole who's beating up Harwin and slitting Beesbury's throat. But I'm gonna lie if I say I'm not enjoying this dickhead version & waiting for him to get his comeuppance.

@@BloodravenRivers I think the twins are fundamentally different to Anakin, it's been established in the Acolyte that the twins were made by someone manipulating the force whereas Anakin was made by the force itself making him significantly different imo (whilst there is a comic that suggests Palpatine had a hand in manipulating the force , the creator has since come out and stated that as a misinterpretation of the comic). At around 10:49 I talk about why I think that line could still make sense in TPM however at this point it's just theorising until the show explains it. Mundi's existence is something that has been blown way out of proportion imo, the sources that stated his DOB came from a CD-ROM of the phantom menace (which wasn't canon to begin with) and a good chunk of other material from that CD-ROM has been contradicted or 'Retconned' (even though again it wasn't a canon source) a creator did a very good overview of this over on TikTok (www.tiktok.com/@ryanpw_/video/7383774169332321578?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7040199127050044933) Regarding Cortosis there isn't a clear example here other than it's extreme rarity, you could also question why they didn't use Beskar. Imo they probably didn't feel like it was necessary or the though didn't necessarily occur to them. This is just how I view a lot of the things you mention personally I don't see them as crapping on prequel canon but that is a matter of opinion, I have faith that they will conclude the show in a manor that honours the sith remaining hidden.

I watched it at midnight on my iPad and that viewing is not counted in the overnight figures. We won’t know the true figures for a while. And we may never know the Disney figures because they don’t have any obligation to publish them. There is currently zero evidence that the show needs to go on a longer term break.

Why thank you, always try to voice my feelings as opinions not facts. Personally I find it more likely they will save Mrs Flood for Season 2/15 as oppose to the Christmas special, I think from how they've hinted at them so far she's a kind of 'Big Bad' and that to me makes them more likely being (or involved with) the main antagonist of Season 2 rather than just the Christmas Special.
