I think Mrs Flood being malevolent is just a fake-out. I believe she's a force for good. I'm pretty convinced she's really a God, but she did make a comment in this episode that makes it sound like she could be a timelord (the Doctor said sometimes timelords regenerate to hide away, and Mrs Flood said "I've been hiding myself away." It could be an RTD red herring, but I'm just not sure at this point. I'm sticking to thinking she is a God, but a good one, and is here to help stop Sutekh.

I'm still watching, and when you said Isis, that's also been a theory of mine. It does fit with the idea of "Floods" and storms. She's also a master of disguise and an opposing force to Set/Sutekh.

Another excellent theory, to me I’m still more on the fence with where their motivations are. Personally I think they’re with Sutekh rather than against them but I suppose we’ll find out next week

Someone had a good theory yesterday that Mrs Flood is a harbinger for Isis and Isis is Ruby.

The Satan is a being that is older than the universe and Sutekh is way older than anything as it brings death to every universe it encounters and i would not be surprised both are related to the same primordials as him, toymaker, maestro etc.

As for Mrs. Flood...... In egyptian mythology Sutekh or Set, whatever you want to call him killed another god named Osiris. Osiris had a wife called Isis, whom you found out about. Isis was also Sets sister. When she learned about Set killing her husband she cried with her tears causing the Nile-FLOOD, which was the beginning of all life. Well, who knows? I am definitely curious how this will all end. I don't think Sutekh will be the only surprise waiting for us.

Its not a coincidence that you think Sutekh sounds like the Beast as they share the same voice actor: Gabriel Woolf

The doctor also once referred to Sutekh as Satan, so they may be the same entity or related in some way.

Mrs Flood could be Rubys mother and I think it’s giving us a clue, the way in which the hooded figure and her walks and their speed, if not Romana is another guess of mine, there was previously 2 incarnations of her.

Yeah it’s a difficult balance to keep when recording reactions, however 9/10 I’ll lean on more commentary as thats more of the point of the video
