I have two watches from this 'brand'. They are both excellent in quality. This diver is perhaps superior for its lume. The other, which can also be found on my channel, I had customised from the factory before it was sent. I wanted a different bezel insert than available. They did this at no extra cost. I suspect all of their watches are built with the same quality and there are so many variations available that it can be hard to choose. One thing is certain, for the price of a Pagani, the company makes a much better watch and bracelet.

I have routinely misstated my wrist size in several videos as 7.5", but it turns out that my wrist is right at 20cm - 7.87 inches. The lug to lug for the 50mm case is 58mm, but as I point out in my SOTC Aragon edition video, the silicone strap that the watch comes with pushes it out to about 65mm. It is not for the feint of heart - or wrist, for that matter. Perhaps you'd find the 45mm case more suitable? Idk. This watch fits my wrist just fine, but the 45mm would too.

1644, all day. You would have heard my disappointment about the crystal of the 1676, but it's more than that. The dial of the '76 is to glossy. It would have been so much more elegant if it were matte, instead. Whereas the 1644 offers so many different dial colours - also date/ no date options. I also think that the 1644 is more friendly to wearing off bracelet and looks great with the nato or strap variants.

I wear the 300 more, for sure. I am more drawn to the watch than the 600, I think it is more interesting to look at. But, to be fair, I only wear the 300T about once a month versus the 600T, which I might only wear once every two months.

That was tricky and I even think I bent it the first time when I was sizing it for her wrist. Nonetheless, she has not complained about it. Once it is sized, there is no need reopen the mechanism to adjust again. Ideally however, I believe that system needs a more robust pin than the one used.

Between the A and B movements: The A movement features 30% dial transparency whereas the B offers 20%. The result is that the A movement charges more quickly than the B, e.g. one day charge can be accomplished in 90 minutes with the A movement (inside the office under fluorescent light) vs. 123 minutes with the B movement. In fine weather sunlight though the difference is only a minute, 2 minutes for the A and 3 for the B. There is a secondary battery difference as well. The A houses a titanium-lithium-ion and the B features lithium metal.

Every picture and rendering from the site implies that it is - at least - a translucent black, with some colour of the titanium visible through the treatment resulting in a darker than gunmetal, or smoky colour way. However, the actual colour is so light, that the images misrepresent the truth. Also, my screen is always at maximum brightness. I think it is possible that Boderry intended to produce a darker product and the the images are indicative of that intent, but that the prototype used for the images is not what the production models turned out to be. The thing is, most of the images are actually renderings, so there shouldn't have been an issue faithfully representing the case and bracelets' true colour.

Yeah, it's irritating to discover that some customers are prioritised over others. Because some reviewers of this watch indicated they ordered their watch after I ordered mine - so they must not be following a first come, first serve practice. More galling was that some of the reviewers shared that it was their first Boderry. After they cancelled my first tracking number, they sent the watch from Spotify.com with the extra strap and new delivery address. Sadly, unless the customs policies change, I shan't be adding any more Boderry watches to my collection.

Sure, it is not ideal, but it was still 720p and the most ubiquitous resolution on YT. All unboxing videos up to that point were intended to be easy to produce, one take unboxing videos. Now my videos are 1080p and even though I can film in 4K, I am not keen to use that much data and spend untold amounts of time uploading. But, I hear ya. The video quality matches my underwhelming opinion of this watch, lolz.

I am familiar with that process. I seemed to have brain lock in this video and the unboxing video, because I failed to mention the most likely process - and in fact the actual process - that the dial was merely stamped with a relief pattern for easy replication and low cost of production.

@@bidipbo I still hesitate buying this model, or the previous model with smoother edges in brown color without the calendar that is quite small. There is barely no videos on KZbin about this specific model, would be worth to make just more couple shot video of it on KZbin 😉. It comes with 2 colors silver and white. I kind of like the white more but haven't seen it yet.

I bought mine from Konyalisaat, online. The price now is about $380 (listed at 12.707,12 tl). They also have the new version, with Bluetooth, for slightly more, 13.517,10 tl.

All things considered, it is a very nice watch for the price. The case diameter is even less than the stated 39mm; it is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 38.7mm. While it looks small on the wrist, to my eyes, the reality in wrist shot photos that I have taken is that it looks just like a 40mm case - so that's awesome. I did mod the watch with gold paint on the bezel indices, but eventually, I removed that and just made peace with its appearance. The longer I have owned it I have become content, due in part because it is the best build quality for a watch in this price point. The finishing, bezel, crystal and riveted bracelet are superb, really. My main niggle was the paint selection. Even the bracelet has availed itself from my first impression. And the lume is not bad, it does the job through the night.

The short length of the band is the main reason I swapped it out. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and the velcro was barely doing its job. The case diameter is 40mm, which is the bog standard diameter for all Rolex sports models, save for the Sea-Dweller. Now, I myself prefer 42-44mm cases, but 40 is not too small for nearly all wrists. I have a couple of watches in the collection that hover around 38mm, which I think is too small when I look at them on my wrist. But, you know what? When I photograph them on my wrist, they do not look small at all. I really believe that our own perception is biased. Because when I see the size of a 38mm case on my wrist - in photos - it looks just as big as other watches that I have which are greater than 40mm in diameter. Give it a chance, I think the sparkly bits will draw attention in positive ways that will erase any idea that it is too small.

True that, but backstory is important too. As long as I had to wait for the watch to be delivered, it seemed that one minute for every month I waited is fitting. And what an underwhelming watch it is. I have soured on the brand completely.

No problems, so far. When I am not wearing the watch, it sets in a box. When I take it out to wear, I have to set the watch, wind it and go. It is said that it is not ideal to let automatic watches go for long periods unwound, but that isn't really true. The logic behind that advice is based upon the idea that the lubricants can migrate away from the points of contact that they are meant to protect from friction, due to gravity. Prolonged periods of non-use might also cause damage to the gears if the viscosity of the oil were to increase and the watch were wound up for use. But that is outdated advice since the lubricants used have exceptionally low viscosity. It's like when you start your combustion engine automobile after hours or days of non-use. The oil has migrated off of the parts in the engine and returned to the oil pan. When the engine is turned over and started, it is best to let the oil recirculate through the engine before setting off down the road at breakneck speed to avoid damage from the heat of intense friction of the moving parts before the oil has had the chance to re-coat those parts. Think about it. Many watches sit in inventory at the factories unwound, for periods exceeding months at a time. The tolerances of these movements are much improved since the time that advice first circulated. The less that a watch is wound and worn means less wear and tear of the movement. This is a good thing. With regard to the reliability of this movement, it is probable that there are hits and misses. This is true for Pearl(e) movements, used in other PD models, for example. It is possible that the main spring fails inside the barrel, not necessarily due to a break, but slippage inside the barrel. The hairspring of the regulator can sometimes get hung up from a sudden shock. Anything that can go wrong, will with a mechanical movement - regardless of manufacture. The great thing is, all of them can generally be serviced quite easily by qualified professionals and even hobbyists, alike.

I purposely chose this dial and the Mercedes hands so that it did NOT look like the bog standard.

That is down to the fact that different prices on AE are actually being offered for sale from different stores. Each one of those acquired their inventory for different wholesale prices and have their own margins. It can also be that the stores are selling different versions of the watch. I bought this directly from the Steeldive website.

After a couple of occasions using the leather strap, I switched over to my rubber strap, despite its damage. I have worn it that way ever since.. Boderry changes up the packaging and content inside, so who knows about your extra strap.

According to Google, they ended the paywall experiment with 4K after so many consumers expressed their outrage. I am still unlikely to film in 4K due to the file size for uploads, but also because so many creators have commented about videos never actually completing the upload. I am able, but I remain unlikely due to file size. Of course, shorter videos are a good candidate for this resolution, so I may experiment.
