I waited two months to get this delivered and it was worth the wait. I intended to mention that the aluminium bezel insert has a cool detail. The numerals and indices on it are embossed, or stamped into the surface. I have never seen an aluminium bezel with numbers that are recessed into the surface. It is logical, since they are also lumed. It can only mean that the thickness of the bezel must be at least double that of a typical aluminium insert.
HOWEVER - the NH34 movement is acting funny. When I adjusted the time and attempted to reseat the crown, the hands kept moving as I attempted to screw down the crown. After screwing down the crown and unscrewing, it acts normal: popping out into the winding function, then pulling out to the second position for date and GMT setting and third position for the time setting. But, when attempting push in the crown to reseat it, the hands move. When pulling the crown out again to do-over, it is like the second position doesn't exist - or the hand winding position. I have two other NH34 movements and they have NEVER acted in this way. I don't know wtf the problem is. The third time was the charm - but I will be closely watching this. My anxiety is elevated, since I know that at some point, I shall be revisiting the time/ date setting when, after not wearing the watch, I put it on to wear.
I also misspoke about the clasp's material - it is stainless steel and even indicates it on the lower clasp. Turns out, when you're doing an unboxing video, it is easy to miss obvious things because you are focused on the filming and not the object.
